About the Author
John Madormo is a Chicago-area author, screenwriter, and college professor. John’s first book, published by Penguin Books for Young Readers, was a middle-grade mystery— Charlie Collier, Snoop for Hire: The Homemade Stuffing Caper—released in 2012. Book 2, The Camp Phoenix Caper and the third installment, The Copy Cat Caper, hit bookstore shelves in 2013. He has also sold a family comedy screenplay to a Los Angeles production company.
When he’s not writing, John teaches broadcasting and writing courses at North Central College in Naperville.
