About the Author

John Madormo is a Chicago-area author, screenwriter, and college professor. John’s first book, published by Penguin Books for Young Readers, was a middle-grade mystery— Charlie Collier, Snoop for Hire: The Homemade Stuffing Caper—released in 2012. Book 2, The Camp Phoenix Caper and the third installment, The Copy Cat Caper, hit bookstore shelves in 2013.  He has also sold a family comedy screenplay to a Los Angeles production company. 

When he’s not writing, John teaches broadcasting and writing courses at North Central College in Naperville.

Great story for upper elementary to early middle school readers. It is well written with a wonderful story. I would recommend this to others and it would be a nice book for school libraries to enjoy too.
