This collection of comics includes some of the greatest hits from McCoy's webcomic of the same name, alongside comics that are exclusive to this collection. As some reviewers have already voiced, the humor isn't for everyone. Count me out of this group. These comics are witty, twisted, a little dark, but unfailingly hilarious. McCoy is a master of his medium and his debut collection is not to be missed. I received my copy of Safely Endangered from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I already saw a few of these comics in social media so I was excited to read. The humor is sarcastic and morbid, it’s not for people who don’t like that kind of jokes. The art is simple and with adorable characters, a contrast with the morbid humor. It was quick and fun to read.

I'm following this webcomic for quite a while and I'm really happy when I saw that Chris McCoy will finally have an available printed comic book version. For me, the funniest comic panels in this compilation are anything with the dog in the story, but the rest is also funny. Although it is just a selection of a hundred-plus from over four-hundred in his webcomic, those who are not familiar or not into graphic novels will find the story panels really silly and quite entertaining.
