Are you single and starving for a satisfying scrumptious and healthy meal?

It’s probably possible to build quite a few salads with what you have in your refrigerator in your cupboard, and growing outside in your herb garden. When I decided to produce a salad cookbook I wrote out a chart, known as a spreadsheet in computer language, that illustrated all the alcohols, herbs, vegetables, proteins, oils, and vinegars I had on hand. It was a fun game to mix and match different delicious combinations into a salad.

Salads For 1, the first book in my .99 creative culinary collection, enables you to quickly get your hands on fresh ideas and inspiration without having to invest hours of time in virtual legwork.

This resource helps you to make each salad spectacular by showing you how to combine different tastes, textures, and temperatures. So break out the fancy dishes because a salad full of seasonal fruits and veggies tastes even better when dished up and delivered in a pretty presentation. Just because you’re preparing food for one doesn’t mean it has to be served on a paper plate.

About the Author

Writer of fiction, non-fiction, & poetry. Photographer of all that interests, stimulates, & inspires me. Explorative chef who loves aromatic attitude alcohol lends a dish, & those devouring it. Love to celebrate the everyday, a culture that commands equal footing w/experts in today's socially savvy world. An idea junkie, artist, & creator. There's a piece of me, my experiences, & opinions in all I write, cook, & capture. Best way to see who I am is to come along for the ride thru my books, video trailers, blogs, & other interactive media. Here's a peek into The Queens' multiple personalities. Welcome to a world where individuality, innovation, & imperfection is recognized & rewarded!

QueensVoice-My scribe surfaced at age nine but I did not give her the flourishing fanfare of recognition she deserved until years later, but I'm making it up for it now w/ photographic poetry art, right-brain entrepreneurial encouragement, & suspenseful sagas. Expression is as vital as breathing if you're an artist. Words tie you to your past, transform you, & tether you to the journey into an amazing future. From my words in their many forms, I hope you find meaning, gain momentum, & motivation kicks in to help you soar through your exciting entrepreneurial endeavors.

ShutterQueen Ink-One of my first Kodak recollections is at age 10, taking photos at the Washington National Zoo. Unfortunately, that saga also included dropping my little Kodak Pocket Instamatic camera, which popped open, dumped the 110 film cartridge out, & my beautiful Bengal tiger photos evaporated in the light. But the shutterbug was planted & continued to propagate thru photography classes, traveling, and everyday experiences. Soon after my first 50.00 wedding for a family member, it morphed from hobby into my calling.

TipsyCulinaryQueen-Cooking brings all of my passions to the table. My culinary appetite was slowly cultivated beginning as a toddler scaling my grandma’s counter & stealing chocolate chips from the cookies she was baking. Then there was home-ec in 7th grade, where I discovered I preferred a whisk to a sewing needle, & tasting the goods not modeling them. After high school came cake decorating. Fun, but too much patience. No culinary school, line cook training, restaurant experience, or chef credentials here. I tackle cooking like everything else, on my own tantalizing terms mixing it up in the kitchen using spirits, spices, herbs, combined w/friends & fun!
