Who knew going home for lunch one day instead of staying at the office would destroy Stanley Jorgenson? Catching his wife having sex would’ve been easier to wrap his brain around than the scene he never would’ve imagined and couldn’t accept. Unable to deal, he left not only her, but life as he knew it.
Eventually, Stan reinvents himself and starts over with a new business in a small town. He makes new friends who challenge his preconceptions about the world of BDSM and kink and he finds a companion in Crystal, who forces him to face and embrace the demons he wasn’t aware he needed to conquer.
Stan works hard to become a success but somehow he knows there’s always the chance that his past won’t release him. When the time comes for him to make the hardest decision of his life, he has to trust in himself and his friends to make the right choice, even if he risks destroying everything he’s built.
About the Author
When Laci’s not reading or writing, she can be found with her husband supporting their two teenaged children in a thing called life. Or maybe she’s running around with her camera taking photos while camping and/or hiking. Or lastly, and most probable – the TV is on in the background while she’s perusing her social media sites. Their family resides in the state of Virginia. Laci Paige is the author of the Silken Edge series; The Silken Edge Silken Desires Silken Kisses Silken Secrets Silken Courage A note from the author: BDSM is variable; it's not black and white, it's not always deep and dark. It's whatever the participants want it to be, it's individual, and there is no "right" way to do it - as long as it's SSC (safe/sane/consensual). On that note, my Silken series is meant for those interested more in the people and the relationships than the kink. The novels are light on the kink & BDSM and were meant to be that way for a specific group of readers. I've done my research and have been to clubs, private play parties, demonstrations, forums, workshops, conventions, and conferences on the subject of kink/BDSM. Don't let what you think you know about the lifestyle, or what you've read in novels, affect your thoughts on the subject. Be open-minded.

I had my doubts because of the hardcore of the BDSM. I seen that there was lots that I liked and would love to have in my life. So glad everyone got their happy ending.
