This is a story about the abuse and depravity of life when men were given almost total power. The way men were in absolute control, and women had minimal recourse, was depicted with emotion and heart. This was interesting and then there was the mystery to resolve. It is a complete story... this is not a cliffhanger.

This is another good book in this series. The romance between them was believable and the lead male was to die for! The romance between them could have sparked sooner in the book than it did though. This was a really good romantic read. Couldn't put it down.

The story, characters, mysterious plot, intrigue... interesting. Predictable romantic ending, so 4 star rating.

I loved the characters and they’re lives. Also the descriptions of London in medieval times is well written. I’ve bought this book 2 after learning whom of the two characters staring in the 2nd book. I hope I won’t be disappointed.

This is the first time I have read this author's work and I was pleasantly surprised. Yes it is a little descriptive but it does not have prolonged narrative of lovers angst designed to fill pages. This is a well edited; good book. I liked it enough to buy other books buy another book by this author
