I truly enjoy this book, and find it very fun and amusing. My preschools kids want to hear it over and over again. We now sing it almost daily, and I have made hats to go along with the characters in the book. I recommend this book to everyone.

This book was a gift for my 21 mos old daughter last Christmas. We've read this book countless times since then. More than a year later, it's still in our nighttime rotation. There's something about Sally being upside down that captures my daughter's imagination and fascinates her still. I enjoy reading it too. It's clever and cute. I highly recommend this book and the others by Audrey and Don Wood. :)

I used to read this when I was younger,I had memorized it and pretended I could read when I rang true the wonderful story. I really suggest this to all toddlers, and even adults. This is an all time classic

My twins had the main phrase memorized before turning two and a half. Warning: they also try to stand on their heads now, too!

Silly Sally went to town, walking backwards, upside down. She met various animals who joined her in fun and games along the way until they fell asleep, upside down. Then along came Neddy Buttercup, walking forwards, right side up. Neddy tickled them all awake. This is a silly, silly story that is fun to read. The illustrations are very lively and colorful. I think children would be entertained by this book. This could be used to teach the essential qualities of imagination and humor to children

The pictures are fun and the rhyming is good in this one. I just don't think it's that great is all. It's not that funny. I love Audrey Wood, she's fantastic. Maybe if you're in on the joke or have a child named Sally or something then it's funnier. Really, it's ok.... I guess I just had higher expectations considering the author. My son, age 3, also thought it was just ok.

This story would be fun and could be a good tool for Reading Comprehension. It is about Silly Sally and Ned Buttercup and they walk into town upside down and along their walk to met up with different animals. The book could be used as a tool for memorization, rhyming, and or fluency.

It was a cute little book that could probably be used from grades 1-3. I think kids would find it to be funny and enjoy it.

I love the story, and the CD is wonderful! It has two tracks, one with page turn signals, one without. The background music is addicting and has just the right volume to go along with the reading. If you love silly, than this is the story for you!

My granddaughter's favorite book. She loves the illustrations and the anticipation of the sequence of characters. It is fun to be silly and Silly Sally demonstrates that as she goes to town.

This was a delightful bit of fun to read! Silly Sally is written in fun rhyming prose. The illustrations are bright and engaging. This is a board book that I would buy for my kids because I know that we would read it over and over and over again. I love books that have rhythm and rhyme, that you can read almost like a song. A fantastic book!

This is one of my favorite children's picture books, and I have give it as a present several times. It is good for both preschoolers, whose parents will also enjoy it. It is also good for early readers leasring their phonics. I even used it when I was tutoring third graders who needed a lot of help with their reading but would find some of the early readers too young for them. It was one of their favorites also. It does not have much of a story line but as the repetiont builds it is just plain fun to read out loud.

My daughter asks for this every night. It's short enough that she does not lose interest and she loves the characters. She likes to look for Neddy Buttercup on every page and at almost 2 years old, she knows every word. Of course her favorite part is the tickles at the end.

I used this book when I was teaching and my granddaughter enjoys the story now. The pattern lends itself to creative writing and the rhythm makes it so much fun.

I love this cute book. I'm so glad it comes in board book format. I enjoy reading it to my eight-month old. I find myself reciting the lines all around the house!
