Sky Dog: Lessons From Katrina

The book is primarily about the miss-perceptions that were running rampant after hurricane Katrina had devastated the Gulf Coast region. When the Spaniards first came to America they came with horses. The American Indians had dogs, but they had never seen a horse before the Spaniards came. When the Indians looked at the horses they believed that they were just large dogs. Since they had to look up to see these so-called dogs, the term sky dog was born; it's all about miss-perception.
