Another groundbreaking book from one of the most intriguing spiritual writers of our time: In his latest work, Bill Missett takes the reader through a journey of awakening the soul. A moral tale set in an unlikely setting, Soul Surfer Johnny produces many laughs and captivates us, inspiring us all to get in touch with our often ignored spiritual nature. While Johnny and his "gang" experience many wild adventures during their coming of age, one can begin to understand the importance of life experiences in the process of growing into a comfortable soul. Too many of us go about our days ignoring our inner potential, concentrating on the ego. Spiritual understanding often takes a back seat to earthly self-importance. Missett once again reminds us that we must open ourselves to accept our connection to the divinity that lives within us. Often it takes seemingly negative circumstances to test our ability to respond positively. Once we begin cooperating with our soul instead of suppressing it, the affect becomes contagious. Those who encounter an awakening soul begin to notice a more positive outlook being projected due to the transition. Soon, the day-to-day dealings of the spiritually developed person are felt in the most tangible ways. This particular author is the best spiritual coach I have come across. Somehow able to take a heartfelt, though serious style, here Missett takes a different approach - a novel - than he has in the past. In Soul Surfer Johnny, we are able to easily relate to the characters and their backgrounds. Enriching anecdotes guarantee to keep the reader
