CHAPTER 1
We knew from the beginning. We knew from the start. Before you grew in Mom's belly, you grew in our hearts.
What would you be like? What would you like to do? Whenever we slept, we were dreaming of you.
So we waited for your arrival. But the months turned to years. And when you still weren't here, our eyes filled with tears.
But then we met a doctor. She said, "I know what to do!" And she told us of her plan to make spectacular YOU!
So the Doctor took Mom's eggs, while Mom took a nap.
Dad's don't have eggs but Dad's cells helped too. Because that part of Dad made up half of you!
The scientist in the lab, on that very same day, placed one of Dad's cells into each of Mom's eggs.
