When Reese Pemberton relocates from the Golden State to the Cowboy State for a corporate promotion, she discovers a different state of mind. From the hustle and bustle mayhem of the Bay Area to the slow and easy meanderings of Wyoming, Reese welcomes the change in pace as the hotel’s new general manager. However, she shuts the door on the notion that her hotel is haunted.

But when a series of mishaps introduces the fiery redhead to the hotel’s legendary cowboy ghost, she begins to question the events surrounding his demise.

Reese and Cheyenne police detective Cody Pring join forces to put to rest the spirit that haunts the hotel. In the process, they discover long-buried secrets. Can the two solve a decades-old mystery or are some things better left with the dead?

Mary Billiter does it again with her book Spirited Away. I love ghost stories or anything remotely spooky. This book filled that spot rather nicely. Reese Pemberton takes a job as the general manager at the Historic Wyoming Point Resort. As general manger she learns the history of the resort and the ghosts that live their as well. Soon she begins having visions that has her thinking maybe the ghosts are trying to tell her something. Cody Pring is a local detective that Reese asks to help her investigate the mystery of the hotel. Soon they find that they are mutually attracted to each other. Will they solve the mystery? Will they find their happily ever after? Reese and Cody are probably one of my favorite romance couples. I always choose the couples that work toward a common goal together. My emotions were on a roller coaster ride and I didn’t want to get off. There were moments that were so special and some that would make your heart hurt. I never wanted this story to end. This book at times may seem over whelming but hang in there it is totally worth it. Mary Billiter is a fantastic writer and you need to read this book and all her other books.

Spirited Away by Mary Billiter is the fourth book in her Resort Romances series and I have to admit I have not read the first three AND I feel that you can absolutely read this story as a standalone. I have not read anything else by this writer before but let me tell you though; I fell in love with her writing! Spirited Away is the story of Mary Teresa “Reese” Pemberton, newly appointed General Manager to the Historic Wyoming Point Resort in Cheyenne, and Cody Pring, a local Police Detective aka Alpha Male and Wyoming native. It is a beautiful story that has its own ghost(!!!!), intrigue, mystery, romance, laughter and tears … I cried and laughed at the same time! And do not remember the history, the way the writer spins the tale and how we feel like we are there in person … As I have been to Wyoming and Cheyenne before then I could easily picture the outdoors that Reese was struggling at times (coming from sunny California). Reese and Cody start off a bit bumpy but what a ride they are taking us on AND you cannot deny the sparks between them that light up the sky! In addition there is a number of great supporting cast that add so much to the story itself and oh my … the laughter you get out of them … amazeballs! Don’t miss out a brilliant story!

Spirited Away by Mary Billiter is the fourth installment in her Resort Romance series and this series just keeps getting better and better. This book has everything from mystery, romance to ghouls and goblins, and all of the above hooked me from page one. Following the story of Reese and Cody, you get to see two strong willed people bend to the pressures of fate and circumstances to find the other half of themselves in the most unlikely of places. Reese is a very headstrong and confident woman, who just accepted the position as general manager of the Wyoming Point Resort, but it isn’t until she started to learn of the history of the hotel that she really learns what it means to be different in a new place. The more that Reese learns about the history of her new job the more that she starts to notice strange things happening around her and odd dreams or memories in the middle of the night. Reese connects with Cody, a local detective to attempt to figure out what really happened in this small sleepy town. Cody is a man with big heart, and he does everything that he can to help those around him, but he feels an immediate attraction to Reese. From the first time they touch, the connection is instant and HOT HOT HOT. Neither of them can deny the chemistry between them, and yet there is something holding each of them back. Is there a happy ending in the works for these two? Or will the mysteries of the Resort keep them at odds with the afterlife. Billiter is an old favorite of mine, so when I say this new book come up I knew I had to have it. Her characters are great and her story telling is above all others. If you are looking for a great series to dive into this is one that you need to own yesterday!

Spirited Away by Mary Billiter is the fourth book in the Resort Romances Series, and is a trus standalone in the series. This book features Reese a spirited redhead who is transfered to Cheyenne’s Historic Wyoming Point Resort to help turn it around but that soon changes after she arrives the hotel ends up on the chopping block. She has a crash encounter with Cody a local detective who ends up saving her not once but twice that night. Soon she finds out that it isn’t just the hotel that needs saving when the resident ghost attaches himself to her. Can the non believer solve a 70 year mystery, while keeping the hotel afloat. I love Mary Billiter she is easily becoming a new favorite author for me this is the fourth book I have read of hers and all in this series. I thoroughly enjoy these romances as they aren’t over the top cheesy like most romance novels are. These have you on the edge of your seat from the beginning. So buckle up for a wild ride.

Spirited Away by Mary Billiter is book 4 in the Resort Romances series. I have not read any of the other books and feel that this book can definitely be read as a stand-alone. I never felt lost of confused. It took me till about 40% to get into the book. I think the writing was pretty good and the story got very interesting by the end. The way everything weaves together made it exciting and worth the read. There are ghosts and a mystery so it really was my kind of book to read. Overall I think the author did well and I enjoyed the characters and the story. I would rate 4 stars.

Spirited Away by Mary Billiter is a story that has just a little bit of everything in it, suspense, mystery, action and romance. This is not my first story by this author but it has become one of my favorites by her. Her writing style is engaging and pulls me into the story. Her characters are well developed, connectable and lovable. They will make you feel like you are right there in the story with them. They will take you on some twists and turns that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat just waiting to see what will happen next. You will have a need to see what is lurking on the next page! In this story you will find a hot detective and a sexy general hotel manager. Reece is the general manager of a hotel. When mysterious things start happening at the hotel lead her to a ghost she begins to question what is going on. When the hot, sexy Detective shows up they are forced to solve this mystery together. Will they be able to put this ghost to rest? What will happen when they uncover more then what they were expecting to find. Sometimes things are better left alone, is this the case with this ghost? These two didn't start off on the best of feet but when things change for them, watch out for the steam! These two have such great chemistry and attraction to each other. She is strong, independent, and temperamental. He is a great guy that made a great book boyfriend. They will keep you turning pages! I enjoyed that some of the details in this story made the story flow better when it comes to ghosts and some background information. You don't always find this but this author did a great job with this. There were quite a few secondary characters in this story but they are great and will make you laugh. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see what happens at this haunted hotel!
