Overview

Spenser's never had a client like Jill Joyce, the star of TV's Fifty Minutes. She's beautiful, bitchy, sexy—and someone is stalking her. Spenser can hardly blame the would-be assassin...until he means the true meaning of "stage fright."

In my humble openion this is another good book by Robert Parker. Spencer is hires to baby sit a TV star, Jill Joyce, or is her last name really Joyce? She is not a very good person. He is also to find out who has been sending her threating letters and making phone calls. With the aid of Hawk and Susan he starts his work, He has his usual one-liners that are very good. He travels to LA and gets a lot of history on Jill. Finally the person is found and you will be surprised as to who it is. If you like any of the other Spencer book you will lke this one. Wish there was more of Hawk in these books but will take what I can get.
