Stranded (Ivy Malone Series #4) by Lorena McCourtney

Super sleuth Ivy Malone's inquisitiveness has gotten her into plenty of trouble, including murder, mayhem, and a place on a mini-Mafia hit list. Still on the run from the mob, Ivy ends up in a small town in the Pacific Northwest with a broken-down motor home, a young traveling companion running from a violent husband, and a stray cat. With no way to fix their vehicle, Ivy and her companion are invited to stay in an old Victorian house by a compassionate young woman attorney. But when Ivy discovers that the former resident was murdered and that the prime suspect happens to be Ivy's kind benefactor, she's on the case-digging up clues and getting into plenty of trouble along the way.

Enjoyed reading this type of mystery book, easy fast read with humor and when you start from the first book you enjoy following the characters, a mystery with just a little religion so a person doesn't feel they are being preached to.

I started with the first and read it cover to cover (in a e-book, e-cover to e-cover?) and then did the same with each one after in the series. Well written, and Christian references in a way that adds to the stories without distracting. If you're a Believer and like good, witty mysteries you'll enjoy Ivy and her adventures. As a matter of fact, enjoyed the books so much they prompted me to write this-my first e-review and I have read over 200 books on my nook!

I was sad to get to the end of the book. I hope there will be more in the series.

An entertaining and attention-keeping suspense novel, not intended to give you nightmares. Enough mystery to keep me reading, with a touch of humor. I've enjoyed Ms. McCourtney's books and look forward to more.

The Ivy Malone series are wonderfully entertaining. Nice clean mysteries that the character always seems to be fall into. Has a nice subtle Christian foundation without being in your face religious. My daughter and I thoroughy all of them.

Loved this series. When is Lorena going to finally put an end to Ivy's long drawn out love live and finally marry Mac. Also there are a lot of angles she could take to finally rid herself of the Braxtons. Surely you're not going to leave us with this ending!!!!!!

Since this was the last (so far) in the Ivy Malone series, I hope we readers do not become stranded wondering where Ivy's life takes her after Hello. Really love the characters and situations and the chapters just fly by! Read it on the Nook which was a terrific medium for late night reading. Hope Ivy continues her journey ...
