Overview

A fallen hero reborn

Theo Taggart lost everything the night he died. His family, his beautiful Erin, and worst of all, he lost himself. A twisted doctor brought him back from the brink of death, but reprogrammed his identity to serve her will. Rescued by his brothers, he must fight to reclaim the man he was and the life, and love, that were stolen from him.

A love worth fighting for

Erin Argent thought she'd lost Theo forever. When he walked back into her life, it was nothing short of a miracle. Months of torture and conditioning at the hands of Dr. Hope McDonald have done damage to Theo that may never be mended. He has no memory of her or the life they shared. Breaking through to him, and helping him rediscover all he lost, will be the toughest mission she's ever faced. Luckily for Theo, Erin loves a good fight.

Their reunion under siege

Unfortunately, Hope is far from done with Theo Taggart. Obsessed with her prize experiment, she will do anything to get him back. If the only way to finally break him of his past life is to kill Erin and his son, then she's only too happy to oblige...

Meet the Author

NY Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author Lexi Blake lives in North Texas with her husband, three kids, and the laziest rescue dog in the world. She began writing at a young age, concentrating on plays and journalism. It wasn't until she started writing romance and urban fantasy that she found the stories of her heart. She likes to find humor in the strangest places and believes in happy endings no matter how odd the couple, threesome, or foursome may seem.

Her first novel, Their Virgin Captive, was a collaboration with New York Times bestselling author Shayla Black. There are six more books available in the Masters of Ménage series: Their Virgin's Secret, Their Virgin Concubine, Their Virgin Princess, Their Virgin Hostage, and Their Virgin Secretary, and Their Virgin Mistress.

In addition to the Masters of Ménage series, she is the author of the Masters and Mercenaries series. The first ten novels, The Dom Who Loved Me, The Men with the Golden Cuffs, A Dom is Forever, On Her Master's Secret Service, Love and Let Die, Dungeon Royale, A View to a Thrill, You Only Love Twice, Master No, From Sanctum with Love, and Dominance Never Dies are available now, along with the novellas Sanctum, Unconditional, Dungeon Games, Cherished, Luscious, Adored, Just One Taste, and Devoted. Submission is Not Enough, the twelfth novel in the Masters and Mercenaries series, will be released on October 25th, 2016.

In 2013, Lexi also began releasing her urban fantasy series, Thieves. The first five books, Steal the Light, Steal the Day, Steal the Moon, Steal the Sun, and Steal the Night are available now. Ripper, and Addict, the first two novels in the follow-up series, Hunter: A Thieves Series are also available now.

Masters and Mercenaries is one of my favorite series...I meen, come on, who doesn't love strong Military heroes who fight for truth, justice, and freedom...and the women who love them. The characters are amazing and you find yourself drawn into their world. I love them all and I hate when I finish the story and have to wait for the next book. I have tried other series that seem like they might be similar to M&M but, no such luck. This is truly one of a kind. Now, why I said I really wanted to give it 5 stars...I personally hate the total back and forth thing...I love you, I want you, but, I'm not good for you. So, I'm letting you go...No, wait I love you...Yuck! Gives me a headache. So, only 4 stars. Happy Reading:)

Well, she's done it again! But, did you really think she wouldnt? Holy hell can that woman write! Their journey was long and full of such angst but so worth it in the end. You dont want to miss Theo and Erin's story!!

Did want to dope slap the hero for excessive indecision though. But I still enjoyed it a lot. I found a couple of surprising editing errors.

Lots of drama and makes your heart ache. But realistically, the story makes you feel for all the characters. Erin's fight to save her man and Theo's fight to deal with a past he can't remember without physical pain. KLN

I loved Theo and Erin's story. I never really understood why they fell in love basically along the outskirts of a bunch of other couples' books. After reading this book, I can understand it was so we could get a book like this. We get to see the way they fell in love through flashbacks as well as how they try to regain their love now after Theo was rescued and returned to the McKay-Taggart fold. I loved following along with them as they tried to figure out how to move forward with the child Theo isn't sure he really wants. I loved seeing the London crew and hope we get more of them in future books. I'm not going to give away any spoilers, but I will say the way the book ended prior to the epilogue was absolutely perfect. I loved that the epilogue set up the next book as this author always seems to do. Highly recommend it to anyone.

I loved their Theo and Erin's story. Funny, tense, and heart-wrenching. Even made me cry a little. Begrudgingly waiting until February for Nick's book.

Continuing with these amazing, fun and complicated characters. I love her stories and I've never been disappointed. I always get emotionally involved with these beautifully, flawed but humorous people. I hate that I have to wait until February to continue being in these people's world.

Jesus, Theo damn near broke my heart. Erin, strong as she is, there comes moments where you just need to let go. But these two, the bond, the powerful love the have could not be severed. Erin was not going to give up, she would take him anyway she could get, and that right there is unconditional love at it finest. This was an emotional heartwarming amazing fantastic story and I'm so happy for Theo and Erin and the entire clan. AWESOME STORY FANTASTIC SERIES LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS AND CAN NOT WAIT FOR MORE.....So worth the wait!!!!!!!
