Can't wait until the next book comes out. Already read this one twice. Had to listen to their two songs as the songs were mentioned in the story because I was unfamiliar with both.

Was a tear jerker at the end but all in all a good story line and sexy romance. Every character was brought to life and described perfectly. Bring on some more.

Story was OK, but way too much swearing. I'm not one to shy away from dropping an "f" bomb, but it was used in almost every sentnce. I think it was used as a noun, a verb, an adjective and everything in between. I doubt I will buy anything else from this author.

"Oh, you know, he nailed me up against a bathroom sink at my ex's wedding." Yes, isn't that the story every girl wants to tell her Mom. Or maybe if she's a really hip grandma like me, her granddaughters. Dylan is what every girl wants to be. Successful business woman, smart and beautiful, and two funny, adorable best friends. In strolls Reese into her panties, and now she's a woman in love. No, don't tell her that as she attempts her first 'casual' relationship. This book is a second time read for me. I first read it June 14, 2014 as an Amazon Recommended for You book. I loved it then and love it now. Why I didn't continue on with the series, I'll say book shelf overload. But now a dear book friend encouraged me to pick it back up and read. I'm so glad I did. This storyline hits every single check box I need in a contemporary romance. Funny lines. Awesome and supportive side characters. Hot, I mean HOT, sex scenes. And two main characters I can completely connect with and root for. Yes, is there a bit of drama because one characters heart got a little too tightly wrapped up? Well, yes. But not the heavy angst or ridiculous drama that goes on for pages. Because sometimes love just needs you to work at it a little bit to be perfect. Dylan was perfect heroine as a strong female trying super hard not to fall. And Reese was the perfect male Hero making all the right moves, yet still sticks his foot in it. What can I say. Just read it. I absolutely loved falling for this book again. High recommended read from me. (Thanks Beth). And now I'm off to devour the rest of the series.

I’ve seen Sweet Addiction around the interwebs a few times, the cover stands out, but I only picked it up to officially read because Trish is making me. I don’t even remember what this story is about, but hey what are BFF’s for if they can’t force books on you? Overall Rating: 4.25 Stars – Kept telling myself “just one more chapter.” What can I say about Sweet Addiction, I hated it, I loved it, I loved to hate it. The story is pretty much in the description, Sweet Addiction is a simple and sweet story of two people falling in love. Just as I have mixed feelings about the book, I have mixed feelings about our heroine, Dylan. I started off loving her. I was a little confused how she found herself at her ex-boyfriend’s wedding and I still am, I mean why would you even do his cake for him (SPOILER, but not really), but whatever. She’s there and between her and her friends I was laughing out loud. Her group has a great attitude and even better banter. But then slowly Dylan became more and more annoying. I just had no clue why she was fighting a relationship with our hero, Reece. You would think Reece had the plague or something. It was annoying to start, but then as it continued it became worse and worse. She’s just kind of a moron who has issues. It’s obvious Reece, the hero wants more in their relationship but she is just emotionally blind I guess? I think half the time Dylan lives in a fictional world where she has conversations with Reece where he tells her this is only a fling and he doesn’t want a relationship, because those things never happen in the real story, regardless of what Dylan believes or acts like. She also hits our hero all the time, it really bugged me, this chick is slapping him every occasion she gets. I don't know why this bothers me so much in books, but dudes violence is not okay just because it comes from the woman. We'd flip out if our hero did that. I don't know. I'm weird. I have issues. I know. Dylan, also reminds me of a heroine from last year, Olivia, from the Consumed trilogy, at least in the sense that I found myself asking more than once, “when in the F does she work?” Dylan just closes up shop all the time. She makes deliveries, visits the boyfriend, anything she might need to do. Omg, hire another employee? How does she make money if she is always randomly closing her shop? You have to be available for your customers! I don’t know why this drove me insane while reading, but I made notes of it on five different occasions so I figured I had to mention it here. For as annoying as Dylan is, Reece more than makes up for it. Who knew CPAs could be so hot? And this book is hot let me tell you (Sex warning of 5 Stars). Reece was awesome in and out of the bedroom. He’s so possessive and you know how I love that. Of course, Reece is also a man whore, because that’s a requirement in these books, right? Men, they drive me insane. Regardless of his whore status, Reece was the best. Seriously, he was the best thing in this book. I totally understood why Trish was swooning over him. I swooned too. Most of Sweet Addiction, if not all of the issues our couple faces are things brought on from Dylan. She’s always causing a scene, over reaching, not thinking and being a bit melodramatic. I thought the ending was a bit rushed, we skip months at a time at the end and I would have liked to see Dylan work a little harder to make up for her past transgressions. Regardless of my issues with the ending and our heroine, you need to read Sweet Addiction. Reece makes it totally worth it. He is so super swoon worthy. I want to wrap him up and take him home with me, if Dylan can’t appreciate him than I certainly will. PS. Book 2 is already out so while book 1 doesn't really end on a cliffhanger you can finish up the story with Sweet Possession as soon as you finish.

4.5 Star Review Reese and Dylan met at a wedding and had hot wedding sex in the bathroom.  Reese freaked out a little because he knew right away that she was a game changer for him.  He knew after having sex with Dylan that she would change his life forever. This was a great story!  Amazing story line.  All the characters were strong, which I love in a good story.  Even down to the little quirks each character had, they were awesome.  The sex between Reese and Dylan was off-the-charts HOT!  Jessica Daniels knows how to fog up the pages of a book.  I love a good panty melting story but there is such a thing as too much of a good thing.  Let me be clear...there was NOT too much sex but there was too much play-by-play.  Too much description but I still loved reading this book.  I look forward to reading more from this very talented author. *free copy gifted for honest review **originally reviewed for welovekink(dot)com

5 sparkly funny steamy stars! Wow, this was a winner of a story! I absolutely loved it, and I wish that I hadn’t waited so long to finally read this one. I dove in yesterday on my lunch break at work and quickly got caught up in the zippy, funny and steamy tale of Dylan’s wedding hookup with Reece turning into something more.  I loved Dylan and her 2 besties, Juls and Joey. And Reece! Everything about him just did it for me – not only his great fit, lean and muscled 32-year old body, but also how he stayed dialed into Dylan and showered her with sexy letters, text messages and gifts. He had poor Joey so jealous over his grand romantic gestures that Joey’s boyfriend, Billy will never be able to top him, ha!  And although Reece let Dylan set the rules for their fling, he didn’t mind taking control and setting her straight when needed. I seriously adored that about him. I also loved the quick pacing, the sprinkling of British expressions, and the inventive steamy sex scenes (that card game – um, yes please!). I even enjoyed the misunderstandings and seeing how Dylan and Reese cleared those up and had their inevitable hot makeup sex. All of it was done so well and not overly drawn out for drama’s sake. I did a lot of commenting and gushing on GoodReads as I read this one, so I will limit myself to only one of many favorite moments between Dylan and Reese.  “I love slutty wedding sex with you,” I force out through my ragged breath, feeling his body shake slightly. “Same here. We should really make a habit of this.” I’ll definitely be making a habit out of recommending this one to book buddies.  Sweet Possession (Sweet Addiction Book 2) is currently out now and continues these two lovebirds story.

4 Stars! I really enjoyed most of this book! There were parts I didn’t enjoy for instance the slapping…... There were parts that were funny and parts that were hot and sexy. This is Dylan and Reese's story. Dylan is getting ready for her ex’s wedding and has decided she is going to have a one-night stand. After having steamy wild sex in the bathroom with a guy she never expects to see she goes about her business. Reese is having none of it he wants Dylan again and again. He will make her coming around to his way of thinking. Can Reese get Dylan to give him a chance or will she keep pushing him away and smacking him? I loved Reese he was sexy and sweet. Dylan got on my nerves a little with the slapping and the drama. I recommend this book!
