Read in February, 2012Read for Free Read FridayChallenges: Read for Fun, Why Buy the Cow, Men in UniformOverall Rating: 4.00Story Rating: 4.00Character Rating: 4.00First Thought when Finished: It has been to long since I have been to NOLA!What I Loved: Nina Bruhns did a fantastic job of getting you into that Louisiana mood through the setting, dialogue, and fantastic characters. I was pretty much sucked into the richness of the area and it was perfect for a romantic suspense novel. I loved Nina's usage of Cajun sayings and just about died at Creole's name: Auri! What I Liked: The romance between Creole and Grace was a nice balance of sweet and spicy. You really cared about them getting together and wanted Grace to heal the hurt from Creole's past. The suspense story was a fantastic way to bring these two together! Plus, kudos for not dragging out the "mistaken" twin plot. I really enjoyed that they were getting to know each other for who they really were!Things that made me go hmmm: Nothing really but I started reading the epilogue and decided to wait until I read book 3 since it talks about Muse and Remi!Final Thought: This was a fantastic read that I am glad I picked up. It was also another free read that lead me to buy more in the series so it did it's job LOL

## It was all right. Not the worst but certainly not the best. I enjoyed the plot (twin fills in for her completely opposite twin). The heroine was great. Cute, strong and caring, she wants to find her sister who has disapeared. Falls for the bad boy cop who's watching her every move. Two things I didn't like: The hero was a smoker and that just is not sexy in any way. Constantly lighting up and then kissing the heroine. Ugh.Also, I really hated the way the hero spoke. Leaving off the g's and t's off all his words. Maybe that's how they speak in New Orleans, however, I found it very unattractive and distracting. 2 1/2 stars is the best I can do.
