95 pages. I liked the book, but it was way too short, with a lot of word usage errors.

At nine years old Gemini watched her mother die in an attack by Cirrion Warriors.  Zorran stepped in and saved her from death and other unspeakable acts. Twelve years later Gemini is still under Zorran’s protection but unless he does something more to protect her she will end up being used and abused by every Cirrion Warrior because they don’t see humans as anything other than slaves. Ornack is a Drakan Warrior, but is also Zorrans lover. Their relationship is kept in secret because the Drakan and Cirrion are enemies.  Their relationship could mean death for Zorran. To protect and save Gemini, Zorran decides to give her to Ornack.  He needs a wife and mother for his son.  He can also give her the emotional connection and love that Zorran doesn’t feel he can provide for her.  But as soon as Ornack meets her it becomes clear that she is his mate, just like Zorran is. Will Zorran realize that he needs to accept the mating and will he come and complete the family that Ornack and Gemini have?  What will happen when they are challenged and their fate is up in the air and the life of one of them is threatened? I don’t know why I put off reading this book as long as I have.  I’m not sure if it was the ‘alien’ part or not because I believe I have read books with aliens.  Whatever the reason it was a mistake on my part.  I should have read this book when it was first released because I loved it.  The character development between the three of them together and individually was well written.  Magnuss was an added bonus to the story and one I love.   It was a beautiful story and if the rest of the series is as great as this one I can’t wait for more.

5 stars = I freaking LOVED this book Too short. Actually it's not a short read, it's just that I would like to have read more of Gemini, Zorran, and Ornack's story. And yes, that's three names there so if you've read many of my reviews you know that I was in mini-heaven reading a ménage book. What's even better is that the men are bisexual, so that made for even more steamy reading. Yummy.  Gemini is human and was rescued by Zorran when she was a child. Despite the way his species treats alien women as no more than a convenient sex toy, he has never slept with her. In order to protect her from being taken from him and abused by other males, Zorran decides to give her to his lover Ornack. As his and Ornack's people are at war, Zorran must sneak Gemini away in order to deliver her to safety. Because Ornack's species is dying out due to conception issues, Zorran knows that Gemini will not only be safe, but she will be honored as she is capable of having children. Despite his desire to insure her safety, Zorran refuses to acknowledge his feelings for either of the people he loves and vows to himself to never return so that they can have a life together. Ornack spends the next few months earning Gem's trust and affection, until they finally consummate their marriage in one heck of a steamy scene. Of course, as hot as that scene is, it was outdone by their ménage mating scene ... oh my! As the first novella in the series, The Warriors is off to a great start. Ms. O'Connor has combined the right amount of relationship development and hot sex for a truly enjoyable read for ménage and sci-fi romance fans. Taken by Her Alien Warriors has been added to my reread list and Ms. O'Connor has been added to my watch list. I am already looking forward to the next book in the series. I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.  Reviewed by Angela at Crystal's Many Reviewers!

Received a copy of this book in a giveaway. 4 out of 5 Stars  What did I like?  I love the heroine's spunk and attitude in the trial chamber. I also like that they all work on their individual relationships as well as the whole group's relationship. I'm also glad she got a mom figure, Gerunda, back in her life. What did I not like?  I find it hard to believe that the council would believe a charge against one of their own when the source is the enemy unless they were just using it as an excuse to be rid of their own men. Recommendation: Fun read, no cliffhanger, looking forward to more
