About the Author

Darnell "Saki" Dickerson has been writing fiction since he learned how to hold a pencil and hasn't stopped since. He goes by the Pen Name "Saki" which was the name revealed to him by his muse in eighth grade. Darnell will usually be found working through his backlog of "to read" books, planning a "next" book or story before even finishing the current one, spending time with his lovely girlfriend or doing what most people his age are good at - wasting time on Youtube.Darnell has had some of his fiction and poetry published in high school and at his local library and has even won a few scholarships for it. He has a strong love of reading and writing Fantasy and Sci-fi fiction as well as a deep, morbid fascination with the darker side of the Horror/Thriller genre. He is currently publishing short fiction and going through final revisions of his first novel.

This was FAR from horror... It was a sick story... Im not going to spoil this ending, but if you like sick, twisted stories, then go right ahead and read this. BTW its only 25 pages long, too short for a "short story." This author really should re-think the plots if his stories. Somnophilia isn't the best choice...

Badly written, poor character development, horrid ending. Not horror, just dumb and sick. Don't quit your day job and stop dragging the pen name of a guy who actually WAS a good writer through the mud.

This is a short story, 14 pgs, dealing with molestation in a nursing home. Some people will find the topic offense and the author acknowledges this. However, the sad truth is that it does happen, you have only to listen to your local news to know there are some sick people out there. This story was well written and addressed the topic without being graphic. It's often difficult to engage with the characters in a story this short, but the author is able to accomplish this nicely. I always enjoy reading the works of new up-and- coming black authors and I am looking forward to reading more works from this young man.
