Katie Reus - Tease Me, Baby (O'Connor Family Series - Book 2) The setting for the series is in a make-believe town, Holly, in North Carolina, located in Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s a town that is Christmas year-round. The second book focuses on Fallon O’Connor, the only girl in the family with three brothers. Fallon feels that she should follow her parent’s advice and take the coveted spot in culinary school thousands of miles away. She didn’t want to go, she loved her friends, her family and this wonderful town. Fallon should be happy about this opportunity, but she wasn’t. When Sexy Brad Fulton, Holly’s Sheriff stopped her with his blue lights flashing, just to ask her why she had been avoiding him since she kissed him at the Christmas Eve party. Fallon thought that Brad was too sexy for his own good. Yea, he was going to be hard to ignore before she left. Brad has decided that he can’t let her move away from Holly and him, so he sets out to find out what she wants and not what she believes her parents want for her. Find out if Fallon will guide her own destiny or will she take the easier road and do what she believes her parents want her to do?

Ms. Reus delivers another entertaining story about the O’Connor family of Holly, NC. This time it’s Fallon’s story. She is a pastry chef with dreams of owning a food truck but also feels she has to fullfill her family’s expectations of going to culinary school. Her indecision gets more complicated when Sheriff Brad Fulton makes it clear he wants a relationship with her. These two are adorable and you just want them have a chance. Fallon has to decide what she truly wants to do with her life. Will that include Brad, who is willing to do anything for her, or will it be a life away from Holly, NC and thus away from Brad? Once again, this talented author manages to give us in this novella, a well develop plot and complex characters. Not an easy feat to accomplish in just a few pages. The audiobook made the characters seem more real, thanks to the talented narrator, Sophie Eastlake. I was gifted this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Tease Me, Baby tempts with positivity and sensuality. More than a romance, Fallon and Brad's tale is about listening to your heart and choosing the path makes you happy. Advice worthy of any dreamer, in a love story that screams Hallmark movie.

A fun, fast-paced, intriguing and sexy contemporary romance! She wanted this man with an intensity that defied logic. Which was part of the reason she’d been ignoring him. A girl only had so much self-control when faced with all this deliciousness. Tease Me, Baby by Katie Reus is the second installment in Katie’s O’Connor Family series and a wonderful low-angst romance. As with all of Katie’s books, it works well as a stand alone read, if that is your preference. The story takes place in the small town of Holly, North Carolina, where it is Christmas year-round. Tease Me, Baby is the story of baker Fallon O’Connor and Sheriff Brad Fulton. Fallon is a darn good pastry chef. Her delectable creations are to die for. Actually, Fallon already has a business degree but she feels that she would please her Mom by obtaining a culinary degree also and Fallon has always strived to please her Mom. To that end, she has enrolled in culinary school. However, she is having a hard time forgetting a heated encounter -including a scorching Christmas Eve kiss - with hot alpha Brad Fulton, Holly’s Sheriff. Brad is a respected, responsible, Captain America type and Fallon believes she’s not good enough for him. Brad knows that Fallon is the woman for him but she’s avoiding him like the plague. He thinks she and her career can thrive in Holly with him and that she doesn’t need a culinary degree as she’s already an accomplished chef and can be successful without it. But, not only does he have to convince Fallon that her future is in Holly with him, but he has to get her overprotective brothers to accept him too. Fallon and Brad have great chemistry. Even though their story is a short one, Katie does a great job developing their characters into totally believable and likable entities and packing their fully-plotted story into a novella. Following please find a few favorite quotes from Tease Me, Baby: "Maybe I’m not the Boy Scout you think I am." --- Mr. Boy Scout was not for her. He was exactly the type of man her family would expect her to settle down with. Freaking perfect. --- “Well, are you?” “Am I what?” “Dating people?” Her lips quirked up at the corners. “Are you?” “Nope.” “Neither am I.” “Good. You’re mine until you leave.” One of my favorite cute slightly naughty scenes involved a family dinner after Brad had been coerced into playing a brutal game of hockey with Fallon’s safeguarding brothers. Here’s a short excerpt from that sweet and steamy scene which took place in Fallon’s family’s guest bathroom: Laughing, she stood and held out a hand, “You need any first aid?” “Nah. Your kisses did the trick.” Sophie Eastlake is the very capable narrator for Tease Me, Baby. She has capably voiced many of Katie’s audios and does another excellent job with Tease Me, Baby. She consistently differentiated between the characters’ voices and exuded the appropriate emotions making for an easy, pleasurable listening experience. Sophie’s performance positively enhanced an already enjoyable read. If you enjoy listening to audio books, I’d highly recommend that you check out the audio edition. Tease Me, Baby is the perfect read for an entertaining, quick escape. It features charming and genuine characters in a light romance with a highly satisfying HEA. If you are looking for a fun, fast-paced, intriguing and sexy romance, you won’t go wrong with Tease Me, Baby! My full review is posted at Reading Between The Wines Book Club. Tease Me Baby is the second book (novella) in the O’Connor family series by Katie Reus. It takes place in the town of Holly – where it is Christmas 365 days a year. Fallon O’Connor is one step away from following her dreams (or so she thinks). She is always trying to please someone (usually her mother) and thinks that attending pastry school will do this. After a scorching encounter with Brad Fulton, the town Sheriff and all around boy scout, Fallon is torn between school and staying with Brad. The plot was fairly well developed for a novella and the characters were believable. Although this is the second novella (book) in the series, and you do see appearances by prior characters, I think it could be read as a stand-alone quite easily. Ms. Reus’ books are generally an automatic purchase for me. Her plots are well written, the characters are well developed and their interactions are believable.

TEASE ME AGAIN BABY This is one of my very favorite books by Katie Reus. Katie always spins a story with great characters, steamy hot sex in a well written tale. This is the story of Fallon and Brad. He is the local sheriff and she is a woman that wants to go to culinary school. One hot kiss from the sheriff changes everything she thought she wanted. I so enjoyed this book!

Brad and Fallon are fiercely attracted to each other. Fallon is hesitant to see where the attraction leads since she leaves for culinary school in two weeks. Can Brad convince her to give them a chance to see what develops? I love the chemistry, the characters, and Katie's storytelling. I received an advanced readers copy in exchange for an unpaid honest review.

Holly, North Carolina is a wonderful place to live. Fallon O'Connor loves it here. Why did she register at a culinary school in California? She knows it's to make her parents proud. The problem is that now that she's seeing Brad Fulton, the local sheriff, she wants to stay in her hometown. Is there a HEA in her future? Fallon comes from a loving family with three over protective brothers. I loved how she stands up to them. She's feisty and not afraid to go after what she desires. Brad is attracted to Fallon. He's determined to make her his. Their chemistry is powerful. He's such a good and honorable man. I enjoyed seeing them together. I was pulled into this story by the passionate characters and the charming setting. It's filled with good and caring people. I would love to visit Holly. Katie Reus never disappoints. This story is romantic. I'm looking forward too seeing which O'Connor falls in love next. I was given a copy of this book. I voluntarily read it and my comments are my honest opinion.

3.5 stars--TEASE ME, BABY is the second installment (and novella) in Katie Reus’s contemporary, adult O’CONNOR FAMILY erotic, small-town romance series focusing on the O’Connor Family of Holly, North Carolina. This is sheriff Brad Fulton, and pastry chef Fallon O’Connor’s story line. TEASE ME, BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Told from dual third person perspectives (Fallon and Brad) TEASE ME, BABY focuses on the building romance between Holly, North Carolina’s sheriff Brad Fulton, and pastry chef Fallon O’Connor. A drunken New Year’s Eve kiss from Fallon O’Connor had Brad Fulton thinking about a future with the woman that has starred in his fantasies for close to one year. One year earlier Fallon O’Connor returned to her hometown of Holly, North Carolina, set up business but has struggled with her place in the family and back in town. Her attraction to sheriff Brad Fulton found our heroine lusting after a man she believes is too perfect for the likes of her but a commitment to attend culinary school out West finds Fallon preparing to leave Holly just as things start heating up between her and the sexy sheriff next door. What ensues is the quick building relationship from lust to love for two people who have danced around one another for close to a year. TEASE ME, BABY is a quick read; a fast paced story of insta-love between a successful pastry chef and the town’s resident boy scout-Sheriff Fulton. There is no major story line conflict but the heroine’s decision whether to head out West or stay in Holly and pursue a relationship with the man that she loves. The premise is entertaining and lighthearted; the romance is spicy and sexy; the characters are passionate.

She never wanted perfection, but that’s what she finds. Pastry chef, Fallon O’Connor is torn between her dreams and her obligations. Right before she reluctantly sets off for a degree she doesn’t want, she’s reeling from a mind-blowing encounter with Mr. Perfect. But one sexy, toe-curling kiss isn’t nearly enough when a Boy Scout like Sheriff Fulton lights her fire. After one delectable taste, he’s never letting her go. Brad Fulton would do anything for more time with Fallon. After all, he’s wanted a chance with her ever since she moved back to town. And just when things start to heat up, Fallon starts packing her bags—for a future without him. Now, it’s up to Brad to show Fallon that everything she’s ever wanted is right in Holly, North Carolina. But can Fallon trust her heart enough to stay? Review: This is another short story about the inhabitants of Holly, NC a town that celebrates Christmas all year. The first story in the series was featured in "All He Wants for Christmas" anthology. This is another story about the O'Connor family. This time it is about Fallon O'Connor and Sheriff, Brad Fulton. I won't go into a lot of details because it is a short story and I would just retell the whole thing. I will say that they are both super likable and have great sexual tension. The story is both sweet and sexy set in a small town. For such a small format the story is very well rounded and has a deeply satisfying ending. As always, a great story from one of my favorite Authors! 4.5Stars *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book provided by the Author.*

This is a super hot read! The little town of Holly, NC is big in romance. Sheriff Brad and Pastry Chef Fallon finally give in to their feelings. After a Christmas kiss that has Fallon running scared, Brad decides he's not going to let her hide anymore, and makes his feelings very well known. Although both characters had trepidation about starting a relationship, I liked how they both were brave enough to put their feelings out there and let nature take it's course. This was a great read and I hope to read more about the residents of Holly, NC. ARC received from author in exchange for an honest review.

Tease Me, Baby was a really great read for a novella. Sometimes I don't get a full story with a novella or a complete story but it wasn't that way with this one. I not only enjoyed the story but the chemistry between Fallon and Brad and their story also moved fast. This is the second one in the series and I look forward to reading the third.

The chemistry between this two crackles. Both Brad "the boy scout" Sheriff of Holly North Carolina, and pastry chef Fallon O'Connor, find the attraction is too much to run from. Fallon is leaving in 2 weeks for culinary school across the country and has been avoiding Brad since they shared a heated kiss at the Christmas party. Brad's done waiting, he's ready to settle down and knows Fallon is the one. This is a lovely story of stolen kisses, heated desire and finding you can't run from the real thing. I was excited when Katie Reus has decided to expand on her story in my favorite Box Set "All He Wants For Christmas" with the O'Connor Family. We met the family when Jackson O'Connor fell hard for the new owner of of Holly North Carolina's bookstore. It's always Christmas in the charming town of Holly to everyone's delight. The town sheriff is Brad Fulton who retired from the military a year ago and has returned home. Fallon O'Connor is an "experience taught" pastry chef about to leave for culinary school across the country thinking she needs a degree to be on even footing with her successful brothers. It's now Valentine's Day and leaving in 2 weeks for school. Brad's done waiting... Awesome story and my thanks go to Katie Reus for giving me this ARC for review.

Tease Me, Baby, book 2 of the O'Connor Family series, is a sexy delight! Sheriff Brad Fulton has had his eye on pastry chef Fallon O'Connor for some time, but with Fallon not seeming to return the interest, Brad has kept his distance. That is until last Christmas when they experienced the kiss-of-all-kisses. And now, just one taste is definitely not enough... for either of them! I had so much fun revisiting Holly, NC where it's Christmas 365-days a year. And, no matter where you're from it feels like home. I can't wait for the next installment of this series. Ms. Reus has delivered yet another fabulous read! Recommended! *ARC received from author in exchange for an honest review.

This was a short but sweet story. Fallon and Brad know of each other, have wanted each other and after an explosive Christmas kiss they are determined to have each other. With the help of a few family friends this couple takes things to the next level. Can the Boy Scout win the girl? Dreams can be achieved by never leaving where you are. I really enjoyed this very sexy read. Fallon and Brad are a cute couple.

-possessive hero -likeable heroine -safe read, no abuse or cheating -no OW drama There is just something about a man in uniform! I've enjoyed both, this book and book 1 but I'll admit this couple was a little bit hotter. Our couple is Brad, the sheriff of the town of Holly and Fallon O'Connor, little sister to Jackson from book 1. I really liked Fallon's character but I'm all about my alphas. Brad was such a sweet combination of the all American, good guy and intense Alpha. I couldn't have asked for a better Hero. The small town setting was comical along with the big brothers interference. Short, but hot and sweet read! ARC provided by NetGalley.

4.5 - "You're a perfect fit." Stars! We return to Holly, North Carolina for the second novella in Katie Reus’ O’Connor Family series. Fallon O’Connor is looking to pack up her pans and go off to Catering College in a couple of weeks… Well, until sexy Sheriff Brad Fulton puts the moves on her in her mother’s pantry that is. This book had steam and sexual chemistry between its leads from the get-go, and although only a novella, the story between Brad and Fallon didn’t feel in anyway rushed. "Maybe I’m not the Boy Scout you think I am." Fallon is initially reluctant to get involved with Bran, mainly because she’s leaving town, but also because he is exactly the type of guy she knows her mother would pick for her. But spending time with him soon highlights that behind that carefully neutral exterior, something he needs to keep intact due to his role as town Law enforcer, is a man who is not afraid to get down and dirty and show his woman exactly what she means to him. She was everything he’d ever hoped for but hadn’t known existed… Another enjoyable instalment in this series of bite-size romances, I like that you get a great story, without it taking hours to go anywhere, and look forward to the next novella It’s Me Again, Baby Maguire’s book, due in May. **This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy of the book.
