This book is respectfully dedicated to prospective parents and to young parents everywhere, with the sincere desire that what little wisdom lies within these pages may help them in a small way as they face the challenges of parenthood, and with the hope that the successes and the imperfections of the "outgoing" generation of parents may help the "incoming" generation of parents (to use Moroni's words) "learn to be more wise than we have been."
