This is another great story by Steve Goodwin.! This is Sophia's story about how and where she grew up and the beginning of her becoming the fierce angel in Elijah Hael- The Genetic Code. Mr. Goodwin's writing gets better; his descriptions of the characters have more detail and he has included more mannerisms in his writing than his first book. This helped me get to know his characters a little more in depth in this story. I love the dynamic between Anne and Sophia. There is a lot of love and loyalty with these two characters. I really enjoyed reading about the strong bond between them and their on going adventure/journey. There are a lot of different events that occur in this story that bring it in so many different directions. I was impressed with the creativity of the story telling because I would assume the story was going to go one way and then the next event that happened brought it somewhere else completely. It was pleasantly surprising. There were so many circumstances and situations happening one right after another that I finished the book in a few days, I couldn't stop reading. I really enjoyed that the story took place in a lot of different places, the journey was lively. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to dive into an adventure!
