The Annie Lennox Collection

This 14-song collection brings together Lennox's finest work from her four top-selling solo albums -- Diva (1992), Medusa (1995), Bare (2003), and Songs of Mass Destruction (2007) -- all available on one disc for the first time. Included are timeless classics like "Why," "Walking on Broken Glass," and "No More 'I Love You's'." The Annie Lennox Collection also features a pair of new songs available exclusively with this release: "Shining Light" and "Pattern of My Life," written by Tom Chaplin, the front man of multi award-winning band Keane.

I love this album. I left my original copy on our boat this summer and immediately purchased another copy when I arrived home. If you buy it, you will not regret it.

For someone who is looking to some of her best highlights, this is it. It is nice to see "Love Song for a Vampire" it. Was a little disappointed that she didn't include more from Bare but I can't wait to see what comes next.

The first six tracks are flawless. Great vocals and instrumentation. After "Whiter Shade of Pale" however, the album takes a rapid nosedive. If this were an LP, the A-Side would have received a 5-star rating, the B-Side would have received a 1 1/2 or 2 star rating.
