The Book of Autumn

The Book of Autumn contains 6 short stories told in verse. They are written for the adult who still keeps the wonder of childhood within.

Each story is illustrated and visits the likes of the unseen witch who crossed the wrong person's doorway, the crafty crow who does rather well out of the impatient craft worker. There's a wicked Doctor who started off apparently, quite decent. There is a child-catcher who may have even looked through your window once. Then, I wanted to include the sea captain, who once told me his fateful tale the night before he set sail. And finally, the tale of two young sisters, romantic love, a sacred, wish-granting tree and a frightening local legend. Sounds like a tree that you would like to visit? Read what happened to Lucy Pearle.
