Like all of Dempsey books, he is agreat story teller. Keeps you in the story with constant action. Loved that he doesn't have to use vulgarity to tell the tale.

This book is marked as book #9. At the end of this book it is said to be a pre-quel to the series. The story is a rush from beginning to end. Lots of action. The characters are well thought out. A great read.

Good book, riveting story line. Hard to put down, I finished it less than two days. Parallels a lot of today's world head lines.

Ernest Dempsey is a Master at writing the Freewheeling, Fun Adventure that makes you wish you were in the midst of this story with Sean and Tommy! Boyhood friends who have experienced many Adventures together, they again find themselves in the middle of an intriguing and very dangerous situation. This goes back to before Sean worked with Tommy in his company. To the time when he was a Government agent with Axis. Very elite and exciting job, which brought him to Cairo. Lo and Behold, his childhood friend Tommy is there on a big Archeological Project. This is a fast moving and exciting Read. If you have never read any of Dempsey's novels, you will want to grab each and every other one once you have finished this Novel. Good Job Ernest!!

What starts out as a rescue mission turns into something much more sinister. Sean, Emily, and Tommy are in a race against time to stop a revenge plot that could rewrite history. The mastermind is smart, well connected, and always one step ahead. I read and finished this book without realizing it was a prequel to The Secret of the Stones (I found out later after reading the Author’s Notes). This explains many things in the book, such as why Sean Wyatt and Emily Starks are meeting for the first time. It was a bit puzzling but the story was so compelling that I moved on quickly and was engrossed in the action and conspiracy in no time. Ernest Dempsey has a happy go lucky sense of humor that bleeds into his characters and gives comic relief during tense moments in the story. I love it! This story does end in a huge cliff hanger, but now I’m really eager to start The Lost Chambers Trilogy. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.
