I decided to give it one more go after The Final Encyclopedia, which I didn't really enjoy. I found this one even less enjoyable. I guess the Dune Syndrome strikes this series, as well...time to cash in.
So the Childe Cycle ends. Hal and Bleys meet again. Tam's story comes to an end. But it's it really resolved? Hal believes so after his quest with the Chantry Guild. There is room for doubt.
Sadly, the book was boring. Way too much "thinking" about the past of key characters, repetitions, and fantasy philosophy. If it was decreased in length by 50% it might have been ok.
