Heidi McIndoo, RD, owns and operates Apple a Day Nutrition, a consulting company that provides individuals and groups a wide range of nutritional services-from nutritional counseling and meal planning to nutrient analysis of recipes and menus. She served as National Media Spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association and has written health and nutrition articles for numerous publications, including Fitness, Shape, and Self. She earned her B.S. in Dietetics from the University of Connecticut and her M.S. in Nutrition Communications from Tufts University. She is the co-author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Low-Sodium Cooking, Second Edition.
