I didn't know he had continued with 2 other books until, recently when I was moving books online and the next 2 popped up! I read both book 2& 3 in 2 days! Couldn't put them down! The thing about our power grid is TO TRUE! And could very well happen! But our Govt SADLY. Has not needed this dire warning & with to days generation of young ppl fixated about ONLINE CRAP would be ill prepared for a scenario as depicted in this book! How many millions/ billions has our GOVT WASTED@ continues to WASTE@ that 1 attack on one of the POWER SUBSTATIONS a few yrs ago by ppl that have NEVER BEEN CAUGHT@ but it was taken out by GUNFIRE ALONE! & with Muslim extremists in every US state! They could easily cripple the nations power! People ( especially in cities) are ill prepared for a total grid failure people & especially the US GOVT! better wake the FK UP! Because its not a matter of IF but WHEN! So read up & get prepared

I was very moved by this book. I began with One Second After and read all three books back to back. The story captures you and shows with distinct possibilities a world post-EMP. It is very well written and very much worth reading.

With what is happening in North Korea today, the warning to take these books seriously is something that our government and anyone wanting to "be prepared " should take very seriously in deed . ..A powerful read .
