The Fulcrum

Set in a near-future Baltimore, The Fulcrum follows a child laborer whose struggle for survival draws him into a political organization masquerading as a charity for the dispossessed. As he grows within the group, he witnesses the evolution of hope into radicalism-culminating in a failed uprising that forces the remnants of the movement on a desperate journey through the Appalachian Mountains to Pennsylvania, and ultimately, to the ruins of Manhattan.
