About the Author

Vincent Gray was born in London and educated at Latymer Upper School Hammersmith and Emmanuel College, Cambridge, UK where he was a Major Scholar, obtained a First Class Honours Degree in Physics Chemistry Crystallography and Mathematics and a PhD in Physical Chemistry.
He has followed a scientific research career in Paris (Institut Pasteur), Canada (National Research Council), UK (Plastics, Coal, Timber, Paint, Adhesives, Building), New Zealand (Building Research, as Director, Forensic Science, Coal) and China; (Zhejiang and Kunming Universities).
He has been a Climate Specialist and Consultant for the past 23 years. He has been a Reviewer of all the Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and has written two books along with many papers and articles on the subject.
He lives in Wellington, New Zealand.
