When it comes to God’s grace and forgiveness, do you sometimes feel like church folks speak out of both sides of their mouths?

Religion says: Earn your way, prove yourself, atone for your sins, feel guilty, be weary, hope that God will accept you, keep striving, do your best, behave properly, act happy, meet God halfway, try harder, produce good works, keep the rules, don’t rock the boat, don’t ask questions, promise to do better.
