Overview

The Heart of Max is a short, touching memoir written by the owner's hand through the eyes of Max, a spunky and loving Australian terrier. Max adored his Poppi and treats, and always knew what his family needed - at least in Max's own opinion. All his life, he gave love, laughter, and companionship, and his flair for mischief and sense of adventure kept his family on their toes. A portion of the sale of his story will go to the Australian Terrier Trust, to help support the future good health of this special breed.

About the Author

Ina Louise Jones has written and been involved with Bible studies and retreat programs for many years, growing up in the Christian faith from Sunday school Cradle Role to leader/teacher. She also assisted with the writing of short letters of praise and hope for incarcerated young adults in California and in Florida.

She also writes short stories and articles. Dah Dih Dah, (w/a Ina Thurmond) a humorous article for CQ Magazine, early 70's; Where There's Lightning, (w/a Ina L. She is a current member of the Vero Beach Chapter of Word Weavers International, the Palm City Chapter of the Florida Writers Association, the Morningside Writers Group, and the Cummings Library Writers' Group.

She loves interior decorating and photography. She has lived in California, Bermuda, and New Jersey, and now resides in Florida with her Poodle/Schnauzer who knows instinctively when to pester with unequaled doggedness for treats and walks.
