About the Author

For the past thirty years, Dr. Tim McKitrick has had one goal on his mind: connect ordinary people to the extraordinary presence of God. Tim had an experience with God during his college days that completely transformed him. Now, he hopes to help others encounter the incomparable gift of God's presence.

Officially, his ministry mission is to:
Help people experience more of God
Proclaim and teach the gospel of the glory of Jesus Christ
Encourage and promote Spirit sensitive ministry within the body of Christ
Facilitate spiritual development and empowerment through discipleship

Pursuing this goal took a lot of different forms. Tim earned a Master of Arts in Practical Theology and later a Doctorate of Ministry from Oral Roberts University. Tim has served as Director of Alumni Relations and then Director of Ministerial Relations at ORU. During this time he oversaw the ORU Ministers Alliance, which provided support and training for pastors and ministers. Tim has also served as Vice President of College Advancement at Central Bible College in Springfield, MO.

Most recently, Tim shares his insights and experience from the pulpit in seminars and churches. He hopes that through these events, people will learn about and experience the presence of God, and this experience will create a desire in them to pursue a deeper walk with God.

Tim has also created a non-profit publishing company to assist those spreading the message, Timothy Publishing. He has written a book about what he has learned in his three-decade long pursuit of Christ, The Hope of Glory: Everything You Need for Life and Godliness. The book is scheduled to be released in January, 2014.

When Tim is not writing, speaking, or building a publishing empire, he dreams about drinking coffee in every country in the world. He lives with his wife and daughter in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
