About the Author

A native of Pittsburgh, resident of Detroit, and a graduate from Michigan State, Stephen Marks had a wholesome Midwestern upbringing. His core values were shaped by parental guidance, hard work, and having a close knit family.
Living in various cities from the East to the West Coast, and from the Midwest to the South through the years, his numerous travels have brought him a wealth of experiences and knowledge that he felt could be shared to help others adapt to social change. Having worked in some of the largest corporations in the country, running businesses he started from the ground up, and having his work featured in several national publications, his passion for being open, honest, and straight forward is refreshing in todays’ politically correct and “Woke” world.
He is passionate about what he does, and his work, along with this book, exemplifies his morals and ethics. He is a regular contributor to Habit for Humanity and other volunteer community programs. He was a national level competitor for many years in several sports and a world champion at one point. A scuba diver, expert skier, and avid golfer rounds out his hobbies as he travels to many places around the country and the world to help gather perspectives on many topics that are discussed in the book.
