Great book! I really enjoyed seeing a glimpse of what the life of an Old Testament prophet might have been like. I didn't want to put the book down and can't wait for the next one!

Enjoyed very much. Slow beginning but picked up with a rush. Ending makes you long for more especiallyif you have a sense of biblical Old Testament History. Hope there is a sequel.

If you like reading the Bible you'll like this book because you'll be familiar with some of the characters and their roles. It makes them all look & act like normal human beings with feelings contemplations, worry, & those who r just looking for their place in life. Whats next in the series?

This well-written story brought to life a Biblical time that is seldom dwelled upon in Christian Sunday school. I found it to difficult to put down and I definitely am looking forward to the next book! (And it was so refreshing to read correct grammar, spelling and punctuation, so rare in the novels produced in this electronic age. )

This ook is well written Ana captivating. I read it on my Nookreader. I wish I had seen the glossary before I completed the book. What a marvelous perspective onmusic and prophecy. I was entranced by the author's knowledge of the time period in which this is set.

I was not certain whether I would enjoy this book as usually stories that are overtly religious in nature turn me off. This story was an excellent interpretation of history and a reminder of the evils of war. While the opening scenes were chopy the rest of the story held together beautifully. It was as though the author had not come into his own until he was a few chapters into his story.

I am an avid reader and Christian yet I find most "Christian fiction" to be somewhat dull. This on other hand, has a great message and it's very exciting. The story grips you and doesn't let go. Reading this was educational as well as entertaining. Can't wait for the next one.

I really didn't tie everything together until I saw the video. It answered my inner questions. I also wished I knew of the glossary. I am a devote. Christian but Israel is the foundation. How many people think about the relationship of Abraham Isaac and Ishmael and the Jewish/Arab conflicts today. Our history is in the prophecy. We should look there to see our future.

I tried to read this book 2 times and had to put it down because it was so boring and not going anywhere. I'm not sure what it is about. At first I thought is was a story about Saul and David in the Bible but so much of it did not match up with that story that I don't know what it is really about. D D

At first I didn't know if I would finish the book but the more I read the better it became. There were a lot of thought provoking ideas in the book and several that I reread because I wanted to remember. Overall I liked the book and would probably read the next one in the series.
