About the Author

Thadeus Parkland is originally from Fort Worth, TX. Growing up in a typical middle income? family, his creative side consistently provided both laughter and chaos at home. A passion for writing has spanned more than 30 years. He early works were poetry written for people he loved. With a firm belief all things will work out as they are intended too and living in a constant state of discovery, Thadeus was compelled to the take on the task of writing this novel. A desire to tell a story of abuse, healing and ultimate forgiveness brought this book to fruition. Inspired by events from his somewhat turbulent upbringing, The Last Cotillion provided healing from his own abusive past. A sense others might find healing, he decided the story had to be shared.

Long time supporter of charitable organizations supporting those less fortunate, a commitment to give twenty-five percent of the books proceeds ?to select charities has been made. Non-Profit groups supporting people living with HIV and feeding the elderly will receive quarterly donations from sales of the Last Cotillion.
