The Last Flight to Shangri-La
Return from Diaspora Shawn Pantera steps out on his own adventure, charging to rescue his father and grandfather from the clutches of an evil despot on the far away planet, Shang-Dao-Wan, the original home of Shangri-La. Born of immortal parents, Shawn is drawn into the intrigue of two opposing dynasties bent on subjugating the planet to their will. His one advantage, Shang-Dao-Wan is three quarters the size of his native Earth, making his strength, stamina and equipment more than a match for the foes he encounters. Pirates of Shang-Dao-Wan The peace brought about by the union of the Rigel and Kahn Dynasties on Shang-Dao-Wan is short lived when the menace of pirates on the open seas threatens their very shores. Shawn Pantera steps in again to help rescue the daughter of Daemon Renshu, ruler of An Dao (Peaceful Island), and his team of engineers work to find a way to close down or control the shield that locked the planet into a technological era of steam and iron for ages. "Last Flight to Shangri-La" is a two part Contemporary Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel in the Pantera series.
