The Last Way

A young boy in a small southern town plans to kill his father. Each chapter of The Last Way presents a different course of action to get the job done. He could push him off a high, rocky ledge; he might orchestrate an "accidental" shooting during a hunting trip; or, maybe he'll slip enough crushed sleeping pills into his father's booze to ensure he never wakes again.
