About the Author

Michael Jaquish is a poet, novelist, and international photojournalist. Following his retirement from law enforcement administration in the Pacific Northwest, he worked overseas in West Africa for many years providing security, intelligence, and logistical support for US Embassies and NASA's space shuttle abort landing sites. He currently resides in Spokane, Washington in the United States where he writes, and teaches Buddhist philosophy, meditation, and mindfulness while seeking out opportunities to raise compassion and awareness of how and why we are all connected.
