About the Author

Boyd Morrison is an author, actor, engineer, and Jeopardy! champion. He started his career working on NASA's space station project at Johnson Space Center, where he got the opportunity to fly on the Vomit Comet, the same plane used to train astronauts for zero gravity. After earning a PhD in engineering from Virginia Tech, he used his training to develop thirteen US patents at Thomson/RCA. Boyd then managed a video game testing group in Microsoft's Xbox division before becoming a full-time writer. For non-fiction thrills, he enjoys white water rafting, skiing, scuba diving, and bungee jumping. Boyd is also a professional actor, appearing in films, commercials, and stage plays. In 2003 he fulfilled a lifelong dream and became a Jeopardy! champion. He currently lives in Seattle with his wife.

I was first introduced to Boyd Morrison through Clive Cussler's books where I quickly realized that Boyd was the secret sauce to many of Clive's fun adventures. I appreciate the technology Boyd weaves into his stories. Even more so, I am continually surprised how Mr. Morrison can take an implausible concept and turn it into a very believable, edge of your seat adventure. I've currently read all but one of his books. I intend to start that one next. I only wish he would spend less time at Pikes Place Market and more time writing. I'm quickly running out of good reading material.

The Loch Ness Monster tied to bioterrorism? Boyd Morrison pulls out all the stops on this one. Ticking clock, rising stakes, global settings, and a touch of romance. A fun read.

Boyd Morrison knocks it out of the park again. His globe-trotting engineer, Tyler Locke, is swept into the middle of a yet another global threat and once again he uses logic, science, and action-hero skills to save the day. This time the threat involves biological warfare and the Middle East. The puzzles revolve around Charles Darwin, Nazis, and the Loch Ness monster. The action starts in Paris on top of the Eiffel Tower and travels to the remote reaches of Washington State and back to the depths of Loch Ness. Once more, the author takes some liberty with science, a bit more with history, and manages to create an almost believable situation that keeps the reader turning page after page. The writing is solid, smart, and sometimes funny. I recommend this for those who enjoy the adventures of James Bond or the books of James Rollins.

This is a great book! Of course, all of Boyds books are great, I think my favorite is still the 'The Ark' but I can't decide, I've enjoyed them all. If you like fast paced, good story lines and interesting characters, then read this book!

In the 4th installment of the Tyler Locke series, Boyd Morrison delivers another fast paced, action-packed adventure with The Loch Ness Legacy. As with all of the Tyler Locke series (The Ark, The Vault and The Roswell Conspiracy), Morrison pulls you into the story from the first page and doesnt let you go! For fans of James Rollins, Brad Thor and Clive Cussler's Dirk Pitt adventures, the Tyler Locke series is a must read!- Mike Najarian
