Shaniaya Griffin is an educator, nonprofit founder, and advocate for health and wellness. Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Shaniaya began her low-carb journey during the COVID-19 pandemic, losing over 200 pounds naturally. Her transformation inspired her to share her story and help others on their path to better health.



In addition to her personal success, Shaniaya is the founder of Nourish the Future, a nonprofit focused on creating sustainable solutions for marginalized communities and addressing food insecurity through education and empowerment. She believes in the importance of accessible, nourishing food as a cornerstone of well-being.



Shaniaya holds a bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in African American studies from Texas Southern University. She earned her master’s degree in legal studies from Texas A&M University in just nine months, along with certifications in energy and environmental policy. Her academic achievements reflect her commitment to growth and making a meaningful impact.



Shaniaya has also held the titles of Miss Texas Plus America and Miss All World Beauties Plus. These roles have allowed her to inspire others by promoting confidence, determination, and community involvement. Her experiences demonstrate her dedication to leading by example and encouraging others to pursue their goals.
