A truly great book that should be read by anyone involved in politics now or in the present.. Crucial on how party rules must be mastered if one is to win and how Obama--and first of all, his delegate man Jeff Berman defeated Hillary Clinton. Truly crucial.

As someone who knew in 2008 the vital role of delegates, I was already familiar with the basic story here. The author did an informative and enjoyable account of the inside details of the race. For political fans who like numbers and process stories, this book is for you. I also strongly recommend that someone in Rick Santorum's campaign read it. Now.

The definitive narrative of the historic Obama 2008 nomination victory over Hil lary Clinton told by the true genius who understood the delegate selection rule s in all fifty states.  The Obama presidency would not have happened without Mr. Jeff  Berman.  Buy this book and pass it down through the generations to come.
