About the Author

Kate Hewitt has worked a variety of different jobs, from drama teacher to editorial assistant to church youth worker, but writing romance is the best one yet. She also writes short stories and serials for women's magazines, and all her stories celebrate the healing and redemptive power of love. Kate lives in a tiny village with her husband, five children, and an overly affectionate Golden Retriever.

This is my first Kate Hewitt book. It was fantastic. It totally gripped me reading page after page never knowing what was to happen next. Definately not predictable. The writing was extraordinary. I felt the characters' pain. Once I finished the book, I couldn't wait to get another from this author. To my dismay, this is the only authentic book she has written. The rest are all Harlequen Romances. What a disappointment. Kate- ditch the romance and give us some more of this type of writing. If you are a Jodi Picoult fan, you will love this book.

An amazing read. Written with care and warmth. Strong emotions are portrayed , which are based on real emotions and heartbreak

I didnt expect that much as the writer apparently has only done harliquin romances for her other books but this was really good....its a real tear jerker but i really enjoyed it...
