Sad to know that someone actually logged in to review a book they didn't read and signed their review Anonymous because they dislike the President. I guess in this day and age people still judge a book by its cover and not the content on its pages. The author is inspirational and I purchased this book for my brother who lost his wife of 30 years. She was only 48. I thought that being the President and working for and with people who like you and don't like you must be a constant struggle. I can't imagine the difficulties one must go through to hold that office. I believe that those struggles must be what my brother feels - good days, hard days and severe adversities. Reading daily inspiration through the struggles may help him. Maybe the people rating this book should actually read it – it seems they need inspirational devotion themselves.

This book gives the reader inspirational food for thought to begin every day. I am inspired to give copies to my family and friends as gifts. A wonderful book!

Excellent book. Theologically meaty, but easy to read. This is the perfect gift for the holidays or "stock stuffer." And the essays to begin each month are phenomenal. HIGHLY recommend!

We are reading this book for the second time! We enjoy the scriptures and the anecdotes. Full of encouragement for leaders of all kinds, families, parents, etc. Lots of people from across the political spectrum can enjoy this devotional.

This is an excellent piece done by Joshua Dubois. I recommend every household to buy this book and keep it forever. I have already added it to my collection of books on President Barack OBama. A must read!

My fiancé and I stopped by B&N after church service today to look for new daily devotionals, unsure of which one(s) exactly, but we knew that we wanted something, especially in light of Friday's Inaugration and the unfortunate behavior and wholly disheartening rhetoric of the incoming President. Browsing through the shelves, somehow this one jumped out at me. I bought it, took it home and dived right in -- catching up on the devotionals I'd missed this month so far. What an amazing blessing this book already is -- and I'm only 21 days in! So grateful that it caught my eye on the shelf. I can't wait to see what it holds for the rest of the year! Will definitely be buying more for friends. FIVE STARS. (1/22/2017)

So the guy who leaves out "under God" when reciting the Gettysburg Address is deeply religious and deserves a devotional book in his name? Really?

I so much really wanna vet this book. But just by this comment before me I'm somewhat leaning towards not getting the book. But at the same time I'm interested in the book also. Could someone please help a sista out. Devotion143

Either Obama didn't bother reading these devotionals or they aren't that good. A good devotional helps the reader to be a better person and it sure hasn't worked for Obama.
