The Right Brother is a second chances love story by Tammy Mannersly. It is a standalone so there are no cliffhangers and really, sometimes one simply wants a glass of wine and a book that is good for one’s soul and Tammy Mannersly delivers (you have to bring your own wine though!). The Right Brother is the story of Gwen and Blake and Blake’s brother David. The story is told from multiple people’s point of view and at the beginning it takes a bit to figure out who is ‘talking’. It was a slow getting hooked for me, I cannot say what it was but it took a bit for me to warm up and then to burn … the story had twists and turns and you end up biting your finger nails and thinking oh my goodness, what next?! The writer gives us all – jealousy, posh parties, hot and steamy moments that make us look around and be grateful we are reading the book at home (or if not then be ready to blush) … all those moments when you find yourself getting angry or chuckling or cursing the writer for keeping you on the edge … Which one is the right brother? Who to trust? Should Gwen stay alone and nurse her broken heart or … Are the feelings that Blake feels real or is it simply insta lust? What about David? Well, in order for you to find out, pick up the book and enjoy couple of hours you will be spending with Gwen and David and Blake and do not forget about the wine …

The Right Brother by Tammy Mannersly is full of twists and turns from the get go. Gwen, the main female character, is caught between the attention of two brothers, David and Blake, bother of which are completely to die for. The ensuing tale of lust and romance is enough to burn your e-reader up. Mannersly takes the reader through a journey of discovery for Gwen and brotherly banter between Blake and David. Mannersly takes the reader through different points of view, allowing for a fuller experience attempting to wad through the love story of these three characters. This is the first book by Mannersly, and I am sure that this will not be her last. The story was incredibly well written and the sex scenes were smoking hot. This is a must read for those that are looking for something more than just the usual romance.

I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily review this book. This is my honest review."  at the end of your review. David and Blake Davenport was brothers, one smart, talented and inspiring the other one is manipulative, self-centered and dangerous. Gwen Deveraux is a school teacher used in a scheme for David's dangerous and secrets mission to threaten his ex-wife. Will the scheme work? The story was interesting with great characters and the additional plot twist was amusing. This is my first time reading a book by the author and look forward to reading another one.

The Right Brother by Tammy Mannersly is a story about second chances at love. This is my first story by this author and I loved it. I fully enjoyed her writing style, it will pull you in from the first word and keep you engaged until the last page. You will love her characters and they just pop off the pages. Her characters are true to life and connectable. They will pull you into their world and make you feel like you are right there with them. They will take you on a few twists and turns that will leave you sitting on the edge of you seat just waiting to see what will happen next. They are full of emotions that will make you laugh, feel compassion and at times make you angry. Find out what happens with these characters as they start a journey of sweet romance. Gwen Deveraux has accepted an invite that she normally wouldn't do. She has accepted an invitation to spend Christmas vacation with one her of her students families. She is a survivor of a broken heart but now she is ready to start fresh and try love again. What will happen when she meets the rogue brother? When he tries to warn her about his brother, will she believe him? Blake Davenport is a former playboy. He knows his brother, David is capable of anything to get what he wants. But his last stunt with his daughter's teacher is just unacceptable. What will happen when he tries to warn her about his brother? Will he convince her that he is the one she wants to be with not is brother? Gwen and Blake's relationship is one that they have felt a connection, an attraction from the first time they meet. He knows that he must have her and he is not use to not getting what he wants. She has been invited by David and feels obligated to stay true to him. But will she be able to stay away from Blake? Will they be able to deny they feel any connection for each other? Will he be able to show her that his brother is a lying and he is the one she should be with. These are two are strong characters. She is smart, knows what she wants but at certain times, I really wanted to ask her what she was doing. He is the handsome hero or at least tries to be Gwen's hero. She is not sure who to believe and needs to figure that out on her own. She seem to be torn between the two brothers and is not sure what she should be doing. The other character that I enjoyed was the housekeeper. She kind of felt sorry for Gwen and what was going on. In my opinion she was a great support to Gwen. She was just the kindest woman in this story. Will Gwen ever figure out who she should be with? Does she do what is right or does she follow her heart? You will have to read this book in order to find out! You won't want to miss this ending! This is my first book by Tammy Mannersly. I know I will be back for more. Tammy loves writing romance, has a fondness for animals, is crazy about movies and enjoys a great HEA. Her passion is for writing which has led her into a Bachelor degree in Creative Industries majoring in Creative Writing. You will love how fast paced this story is. I couldn't put it down and read it in one sitting. I was totally involved with this book and I think you will be too. This story will keep you going until the end and you will want to see what happens at the end. I highly recommend this story as I know you will want to see which brother will capture Gwen's heart.

The Right Brother by Tammy Mannersly is a fun romance written in multiple points of view. Gwen Deveraux is invited to spend Christmas with David Davenport and his family but finds herself drawn to his brother Blake. Blake knows his brother is capable of anything but finds it completely appalling that he's willing to trick Gwen into a marriage just to get what he wants. Gwen really has no idea what she's getting into going to this Christmas celebration but just knows she doesn't want to spend the holiday alone. and being Davids daughters teacher she looks forward to spending the holidays with this special little girl. And she's nursing a broken heart. Anyway things aren't what they seem and then Gwen starts having feelings for Blake. Will they be able to get through all the drama and suspense and be together? Ok the insta love that happened took me a little while to get on board with. I was about 50% in when I finally said ok I like this couple and started rooting for them. The older brother was a real jerk and I am really glad he started acting better by the end. I think the writing was pretty good and the sex scenes were good and not over the top. Overall I enjoyed this book and found it hard to put down about halfway through. I would definitely read other books from this author. This book was easy to read and the flow was good. 4 star rating.

The Right Brother by Tammy Mannersly 4 Stars This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it, it moved quickly and twisted and turned quite a bit, which kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next. Gwen, an elementary school teacher who loves her students and her job. Her family and friends don’t live close and the holidays are approaching leaving her alone once again. Her last relationship ended in heartbreak and she feels as though she may be ready to give love another chance, when the father of one of her students invites her to spend the holidays with him at his mansion she accepts. She had spent little time with David and though she hadn't really felt that spark with him, she decided she needed to give it a chance. Arriving at the mansion she had second thoughts because she felt she wouldn't fit into this world of his, but moved forward anyway. She knew she had to give it a chance. As soon as she entered the mansion she came face to face with Blake, David's younger brother whose reputation of being a playboy was well known. Not getting much of a chance to meet him before he is moving her to a private room and throwing warnings at her regarding his brother. David had been nothing but nice to her and this bossy man warning her off was not what she expected. Although she had a very strong reaction to Blake, she felt obligated to stand by her choice to give David a chance. As the days move forward and Gwen is placed in impossible situations by both brothers, and being ready to take a chance on love again, does she choose the brother that seems to be using his charm to deceive her or the brother whose intentions confuse her, yet has tempted her since the minute they first met? I read this in one sitting, and again really enjoyed it. I loved how strong and sassy Gwen was as she dealt with these two men. It was a fun read, and I highly recommend it.
