'The Running Girl' was a captivating story. I could not put it down. I found myself becoming a part of the Mantle family as they went through their adventures and their tribulations. It was hard to believe that this was Mr. Blankenship's 1st novel. I look forward to his next publication.

'The Running Girl' was awesome! Well written and very captivating, it had me hooked from beginning to end. It is well worth reading again, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I loved the Mantle family! The relationships between Kylee and her sister was really sweet. Mr. Blankenship did a wonderful job through the whole thing. It definately deserves five stars!

Great book filled with everything you need for an edge of your seat read. The author does a fantastic job of making you care about the Mantle family in the book. You¿ll find yourself saying a prayer for them as they go through their adventure. I would have never guessed it was the author¿s first book. It reminded me of Frank Peretti¿s style of writing and subjects. It¿s a quick read and hard to put down so it only took me one day to finish. I re-read it to my 7-year-old daughter who also enjoyed the book. I would recommend it to every one of all ages.

Dan Blankenship did an outstanding job with this book. A real edge-of-the-seat thriller involving plenty of action and intrigue, I would suggest this book whole-heartedly. I became so wrapped up in Kylee's struggles to make her family believe her and the showdown in New York City that I couldn't put the book down until I was through with it. It was also a clean book which is hard to find these days with no profanity, one you could even let your kids read.
