Love this series and The Score did not disappoint. I have reread the others so many times and this one will be the same. Can't wait for Tucker's story.

This book has a bit of everything that makes a great romance story. Allie and Dean have awesome chemistry. The relationship evolves over time, beginning as a hookup and continuing into love. Nothing about the progression feels unbelievable. They know they aren't instantly in love but understand this is more than just a common fling. They make each other and the reader laugh, and this duo aren't afraid to get kinky for sure. Dean is mega rich. I like how you wouldn't know that if it wasn't stated. He's down-to-earth and treats others well. He's smart and athletic, as in Harvard Law acceptance and multiple Frozen Four wins. Mr. Heywood-Di Laurentis is also a big ladies man (before his night with Allie). He was always available for a little fun with girls who understood ahead of time that it was nothing more. Allie has lots of good points too. On several occasions she's in situations where she could base her happiness on a man, but she chooses to do what's best for her. I respect that. She's serious about life and freaky in the bedroom. The Score is an awesome ride filled with many of life's ups and downs like the everyday, sexy, funny, sad and shocking. It kept me interested. Sports and contemporary romance readers should definitely check it out. I can't wait for the next novel in this series.

I thought it was just another hockey story, but it had more depth. I definitely want to read the next one.

4.5 stars — I read this one on vacation, and of course couldn’t get the review written right away, so this one is probably not going to be as coherent…that’s my fair warning. I CAN’T BELIEVE I LOVED DEAD!!! Honest to god folks, I wasn’t even looking forward to his story, I just couldn’t see myself falling for him. But I did!! There was more to him than I was expecting, and I honestly fell in love. I appreciated his unapologetic views on sex and sexuality and how he talked to Allie about those things and tried to open her eyes. I didn’t expect all of the stuff in Dean’s past with his high school girlfriend, but I can totally see how it shaped him. I loved how down to earth he could be, even though he was rich. I mean, it played a role in who he was, but not as big as I was expecting. And man did he face his own struggles…while the circumstances broke my heart, I think he needed to face that adversity and hit rock bottom. But yeah, he was just…all around so much more than I was expecting. Seriously. Allie was pretty kick ass in her own right, and you could really see her strength and resilience. I loved that she wasn’t cowed by Dean. He could have bowled her over with his strong personality, but she totally held her own. And she faced her own demons along with him, but I loved how she came out of it even stronger, even though it was hard. I was worried about Allie’s internal self-directed slut shaming, but in the end that resolved in a satisfying way for me. And in the end I think it was a good addition to the story, b/c I think a lot of girls struggle with that balance within themselves, between being comfortable with their own sexuality vs what they experience from societal expectations. So it was nice to see it being addressed. The chemistry between Allie and Dean was off the charts. I loved the natural way their relationship progressed, and I could see their feelings develop and change. And OMG, they were hilarious with each other, I loved watching them banter with each other. It was great to see glimpses of the rest of the cast of characters in this series, it didn’t overwhelm, but it was enough to satisfy. I LOVED all the moments between Dean and the kids, they melted my heart. And OMG, I wasn’t expecting the heartbreak in this story. Totally caught me unawares and crying on the airplane. Very affecting. So yeah, who knew this was going to rival as my favourite in this series? I’d have to read Logan’s book again to see which one is actually my favourite, but this one was solid!

Hated every interruption that occurred while reading this book. Loved the characters and their story. Want more of Dean and Allie, I just don't think they were ready to stroll off into the sunset yet.

This is the 3rd book in the Off-Campus series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and prevention of spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Dean hits on Allie, and every girl, anytime he sees them. When Allie needs time away, she ends up alone with Dean. Can she resist the sexy heartthrob on her own? Allie knows Dean means well. He cannot help being the player that he is. The more she discovers about him though, the more she cannot resist the pull towards him. This series is just flat out fantastic! I eagerly gobbled up each page. An incredible story with characters of such depth, it is an amazing read.

The Deal got me hooked on the Off-Campus series and I couldn't get enough. When I found out that Dean's story was coming soon I couldn't wait to find out how it was going to play out. Let me tell you, Elle Kennedy did not disappoint. I've always loved Dean's character and I found myself falling even more in love with him through The Score. Allie was the perfect match for Dean and their attraction for one another was off the charts. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

Does Dean have sex with other girls besides the heroine in this book? He was so gross in the last books that I'm wary about purchasing this.

Every time I think Elle Kennedy can't top her last hero, she does! I fell in love with the Off-Campus series just pages into reading The Deal. And with each book in this series I read all I can do is scream, MORE, MORE, MORE! Because they're addictive. Dean was definitely not a disappointment. I do love me a reformed manwhore. I think Dean just went to the very top of my list of favorites. Garrett and Logan are still on there too, these hockey hotties just do it for me, what can I say? Elle's new adult series is always laugh-out-loud funny with oodles of sexiness. But she also manages to touch on some very real, very compelling issues in these stories. Leaving me completely swooning and emotional at the same time. If you've read the other books, you're going to absolutely love Allie and Dean. I'm thrilled that Elle left some of the secondary character's open ended because that means there's more. And I, for one, can't freaking wait! ~ Lia, 5 Stars
