I really enjoed this new idea of a catastrophe ending the world as we know it. No aliens or disease involved but believeable nonethless. The struggle of a family makes one care for them. I am an avid reader of horror and scifi and could not put it down until the end. I am hoping for a sequel....

This was a really great book! I recommend it very much. The story is very well written and also has original concepts. You definitely care about the characters. Bravo.

It's amazingly good (if you've seen A Quiet Place you may get a bit aggravated), but the ending is a bit of a let-down.

This book had me at the edge of my seat, everything the family went through the emotions were high and the danger too real. I love books that show the true nature of humans when everything hits the fan and this book MOST DEFINITELY has that. It is told through the point of view of Ali a 14 year old girl and her Father Huw. How Huw protects his family through means he had never done before, and how Ali once again had to grow up and her little brother Jude as well, was painful yet beautiful to read. I only gave it four stars because I did NOT like the ending. A better conclusion would have been nice! But would recommend all the way!!
