Sara's 54th birthday party becomes a psychodrama when a series of bizarre characters invade her London flat: Sara's sister, talk-show host Gorgeous; her sister Pfeni, a peripatetic travel writer; Pfeni's bisexual lover; and Sara's possibly anti-Semitic beau. Romance, recrimination, and reconciliation are the hallmarks of this ultimately uplifting comedy.
