Slate is a collection of selected entries from the 2019 writing competition hosted by The Escape Artists. The competition was open to all engaged with the criminal justice system in and around Wales. The collection consists of original poems and stories based on the theme of slate. The entries were judged by Horatio Clare, Ifor ap Glyn and Rachel Trezise who also provide introductions to the collection. All profits will be donated to charities supporting the victims of crime.
