The research conducted for this book stems from the lifelong quest of the author to assign correct historical perspective to the rich patrimony of ancient Bharat, now known as India, inspired by the timeless and universal ideal of Aryan self-sacrifice for universal good. Despite their extreme tolerance and exemplary pluralism, the Hindu people were demonized as pagans by the Christians and as kafirs by the Muslims, who were deprived of soul and thus could be enslaved, killed, tortured, mutilated, murdered, raped, sold, and so forth. Bharat of old became the land of untold material and intellectual wealth that could be freely usurped by armed might, deliberate mistranslations, omissions, falsifications, and the like. The Islamized, illiterate, Bedouin Arab nomads from the deserts of Arabia did not even have a script of their own, until they adapted Persian left to right writing in the 7th century CE, yet they passed themselves off as scientists, philosophers, mathematicians, story tellers, artists, architects, and so forth, merely by translating Vedic-Hindu-Buddhist texts from Sanskrit into Persian that were attributed to fake names to emebellish Arabic ancestry. At the end of the dark ages, the Europeans were to translate Arabic literature into Latin because the Bible had kept the Western World in a state of profound intellectual and material barbarism. Consequently, Arabic names were now transformed into Greek-sounding phonetics to claim ancient Hindu patrimony as an accomplishment of the European stock. These translations of the original Vedic patrimony were to jump start Renaissance in Europe that had remained mired in superstition, filth, poverty, disease, hunger, and so forth. The scramble to claim Aryan ancestry, successively, by the Persians, Germans, British, and Americans, attests to its unparalleled brilliance for which other peoples or cultures had no match. More recently, the Communists have created anti-history dubbing Hinduism as a cult, not worthy of accomplishing anything worthwhile. In modern India, the 'true' religions (Islam and Christianity) have joined hands with the atheist Communism for final assault on Hindus and Hinduism whose sacred literature has been consigned to the realm of mythology for final obviation. Consequently, whereas European school books laud a feigned Greek miracle that had been kept alive by Arab translations, school age children in India are conditioned to despise their own past and to look to the West as a source of their culture and civilization. However, Greek intellectual patrimony is limited to the brief period of Athenian Republic that lasted for barely 300 years and was greatly influenced by Bharat. The author has gained extensive theoretical, professional, and practical insight into this problem by actual field work, exhaustive research, regular social networking, and a website:, leading to a number of recent books, listed below, and is therefore uniquely suited to provide a correct perspective. Hopefully, the current Asia Century will reinstate the credit where it is due and reverse the trend of imaginary racial superiority of colonial imperialism as also of the stifling legacy of Abrahamic religions.

This book is designed as a source of inform for those who seek truth in place of bias, inquiry in place of dogmatism, wisdom in place of ignorance, self-analysis in place of condemnation, and ideation in place of indoctrination. In contrast to the Sunday school version, you will discover that Jesus spent his formative years in India and is buried in Kashmir. The book challenges feigned, school book anti history by fully documented, factual, accounts in archeology and literature. It describes the Indus Valley Civilization (ISC) dating back to 8000 BC that was to become the fount of discovery in all aspects of human endeavor. Planned Agriculture, domestication of animals, cultivation of cotton for spun garments, food processing from cereals, manufacture of luxury items such as beads, perfumes, silks, gold ornaments, and so forth, were all pioneered by the Indus people that later evolved into Bharat (now India). Bronze Age, Iron age, and pyro technology got started in Bharat whose centers of learning inspired immortal discoveries in Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Mining and Metallurgy, weights and measures, coinage, and so forth. Phonetic linguistics and writing gave birth to Philology whereas secrets behind numbers, such as 7, 8, 33 and 108, led to divination by Numerology. Advances in Architecture inspired the construction of centrally planned urban centers with geometrically designed streets, aligned in cardinal directions, endowed with sanitary drains and waste disposal, thousands of years before they were to appear in Europe. As far back as 3000 BC, Yoga and Ayurveda heralded discoveries in Biological and Medical Sciences that were to form the mother of healing in all medical traditions of the world. In fine arts, three dimensional painting, plastic representation of human figures, poetry, drama, fairy tales, fables, theater, musical octave, dance, martial arts, arena sports, dice and board games such as chess, ludo and backgammon, playing cards, and so forth, all originated in ancient Bharat of old. Advances in maritime technology permitted global conquest of Polynesia, SE Asia and Oceania, Africa and the Americas, as well as unrestricted commerce. Symbolism of the Vedic world became universal in the form of Calendar, Rosary, Swastika, Trident, Sun, Fire, Phallus and Serpent Worship. Europe finally came of age through Vedic influence in Greece, Roma People (Gypsies), Vedic Celts and large scale import of concepts developed in Bharat. No force or slavery was ever used to making ISC the world's most prosperous, scientifically, and culturally advanced civilization whose hegemony was to remain unchallenged from 3000 BC down to the 10th century CE. Similarly, the diffusion of Bharat hegemony was inspired by the spirit of universal peace, good and brotherhood for all humanity. All dogmatic religions are also deeply rooted in Vedic ideation although they were later hijacked by male chauvinism in Europe and thereafter became instruments for hatred, outright theft, loot, murder, torture, demonization, persecution, and forced conversions in the name of unique universal gods. The whole presentation has been thoroughly referenced and referred to the original source in contrast to the day dreaming imperialists who idolize Greece as the source of all progress but fail to document their phantasms devoid of factual basis as supporting documents are nowhere to be found.

Agriculture was invented in the Asian-SE Asian geopolitical space as early as 12,000 BC. Aryan people domesticated dogs, house cats, sheep, goat, cattle, horse and camels, bred fowl, peacock, buffaloes, and cultivated rice, wheat, barley, sugar cane and cotton for the very first time in the world along with artificial irrigation, hydraulic engineering, manure, crop rotation and the like. Raw agricultural produce was thereafter turned into sugar, bread, wine, beer and alcoholic drinks from honey and/or sugar cane juice by fermentation. Spinning, weaving, carpet making, production of embroidered fabrics, transparent muslins, brocades, kamiz (shirt), moza (socks) and shoes all originated in the Indus world. Vastu Shastra, the oldest known architectural treatise in the world, traceable to at least 6000-3000 BC, gave birth to Harappa, built 2700-1900 BC, with planned citadels, granaries, monumental public buildings, seals, writing, standardized measures; it housed 40,000 to 80,000 people, thereby forming the largest urban center in the world when Athens counted no more than 10,000. All houses in Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro were equipped with latrines, bathrooms, sewage drains, settling pools and taps, some 2000 years before the Romans could come up with something similar albeit on a much smaller scale. The importance of mathematics in daily life was to inspire the Vedic-Aryan genius to discover the place value numerals, now passed off as 'Arabic, and zero that has been called the greatest discovery of human mind, along with Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, Astronomy, Cosmology, Numerology, Divination and so forth. Whereas Greeks could count to no more than a myriad, Mahavira and Buddha (6th century BC) speculated with numbers up to 1053 that permitted vast conceptions of time, space and multiple infinities, available in Europe only in the 17th century. The discovery of divine proportion, also called the golden ratio, was to revolutionize architecture as in the Pyramids and the Greek Parthenon. In Arabic translations, Aryabhata was changed to Arjbhad and later to Azjabhar (Al-jabbar) so 'Hindus will not recognize it' and then passed onto Europe. Yoga and Ayurveda were to harness the secret of life, longevity, wellness, the ultimate fountain of youth, vitality, and longevity, and the theory of humors that became the mother of all medical traditions down to the 18th century. The discovery of marma junctions permitted the genesis of acupuncture and martial arts. Bharat surgeons were reputed for caesarian, plastic surgery, skin transplants, hernia, amputation, rhinoplasty, craniotomy, prostate resection, and cataract removal as early as 600 BC whereas the first survivor of caesarian in Europe dates back to the eighteenth century CE. The man's first known trip to the dentist also took place as early as 7,000 BC at Mehragarh. Vedic Aryans discovered writing, phonetic linguistics, Philology and Sanskrit thereby permitting the written compilation of Rig Veda, the very first book of humanity, and marvels like Mahabharata, the longest poem in the world, and Ramayana. The translations of Vedic-Hindu-Buddhist books on philosophy, storytelling, mythology, and so forth became the foundations of world folklore such as Sinbad, 1001 nights, Beauty and the Beast, and so forth, as also the central preamble of Abrahamic religions. For example the name Rama from Ramayana was transformed into Ham, Ramasitoa, Ramadan, Ramsgate, Ramstein, Roma, and so forth, in most religious and secular traditions around the globe. Similarly, Krishna from Mahabharata gave birth to Chrisn, Christ, Herakles, Melchidesec and the like.

Prevalent among the Tamala sages was a song myth of the bygone era:

'Then after the blink of an eye (five billion years) came earth with frozen waters all around ... In yonder island emerged a unique being called apasu-apurusha (neither animal nor man) who would later be known as vraon for that was the sound he made as he walked panting on his hind legs whereas the forelegs were used to gather fruit, food and fashion tools ... only a tenth of the blink of eye emerged a man and speech also came to him ... one certainty my ancestors had was that man, vraon and the four legged lived side by side ...'

This song took 18 hours of recitation and compares well with the myth in Sindhu-Ganga: formation of the physical universe 5 billion years ago and of the earth two billion years ago. Thus, a pre-ancient link existed between the southern Tamala and northern Hindu traditions. The Creation Hymn in Rig Veda states:

1. Then there was neither non-existent nor existent: there was no realm of air, no sky beyond it. What covered it, and where? And what gave shelter? Was water there, unfathomed depth of water?

2. Death was not then, nor was there aught immortal: no sign was there, the day's and night's divider. That one thing, breathless, breathed by its own nature: apart from it was nothing whatsoever.

3. Darkness there was: at first concealed in darkness, this all was indiscriminate chaos.

All that existed then was void and formless: By the great power of warmth was born that unit.

4. Thereafter rose desire in the beginning. Desire the primal seed and germ of spirit.

Sages who searched with their hearts' thought discovered the existent's kinship with the non-existent.

5. Transversely was their severing line extended: what was above it then and what below it?

There were begetters; there were mighty farads, free action here and energy up yonder.

6. Who verily knows and who can here declare it, when it was born and whence comes this creation?

The gods are later than this world's production. Who knows then when it first came into being?

7. He, the first origin of this creation, whether he formed it all or did not form it. Whose eye controls this world in highest heaven, he verily knows it, or perhaps he knows not. (Hymn 129, book X, Rig Veda, Griffith translation).

The genus Homo expanded out of Africa between 1.8-0.8 million years ago in early Pleistocene, as deduced from three million old footprints in the fertile plains of Serengeti. Perhaps only one million people inhabited Africa at the time of first emigration although no more than fifty people emigrated initially out of Africa. Lucy skeleton suggests that she stood no more than 122 cm high, weighed 30 kg, walked upright and retained the primate ability to climb trees. Some 160,000 years ago, migrants from East Africa reached the West African Coast (Cape of Good Hope, Congo basin, Ivory Coast). A second wave of migration, some 125,000 years ago, reached the Nile from where, some 85,000 years ago, they reached the Red Sea, Arabia and India; all non-Africans stem from this group. Sometime between 85,000-75,000 years ago, the migrants travelled down the coast in Bharat to reach Western Indochina (then attached to Asia), Borneo, Australia, New Guinea and China. During the period 65,000-52,000 BC, migrants from Western India reached the Fertile Crescent, Levant and Europe via the Bosphorus, Hungary and Austria via the Danube. During 45,000-40,000 BC, peoples from the East Asian Coast made it to the Asian Steppes and NE Asia whereas those from the West Asian Coast (Punjab) peopled Central Asia, Indochina, Tibet and the Quing Hai Plateau. The period 40,000-25,000 BC saw Central Asians going west to Eastern Europe where they met East Asians and together peopled NE Eurasia. Americas were populated via the land bridge in the Bering Straits connecting Siberia to Alaska during 25,000-22,000 BC. The Ice Age of 25,000-22,000 BC closed the Bering Strait but people now moved down the South American Continent 19,000-12,000 years ago.

Based on a comprehensive review of human genetic, environmental and archaeological evidence, Pope and Terrell suggest that India was at the cross roads for migrants arriving from Africa. Population genetics has proven that all humans are the progeny of a single mitochondrial Eve who lived in Africa roughly 150,000 years ago and who was soon joined by a Y chromosome Adam. Out of the 18 original Eves, three stayed in Africa, six migrated to Asia 60,000 years ago, and nine to Europe 40,000 years ago. Thus, at the dawn of history every human on earth was black although white imperialists believe that the original color of man was white, albeit without any scientific evidence to support this racism. Between 30,000 to 7000 years ago, Eve lineages from both Asia and Europe crossed the Bering Straits to populate North and South America and most Amerindians carry markers that link them unequivocally to Asia. Furthermore, >98% of the maternal gene pool is common to Dravidian and Indo-European speakers. The claim that Indians, especially the upper castes, carry European genes is thus totally unfounded. The M17 genetic marker, which is supposed to be a 'Caucasian' trait, occurs with the highest frequency and diversity in India. This means that among the M17 carriers, the Indian population is the oldest and extensive gene exchange occurred between Indians and Southeast Asians. Based on a comprehensive genetic study across 10 countries, Mitali Mukerji from the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology, announced:

"When humans moved out of Africa, there was a migration to India and from India to Southeast Asia and then East Asia, and finally to the Americas. So, all Asians have a genetic connection with India".
