About the Author

I am a morally deplorable and irredeemable person. I am one of those middle class, white, heterosexual, Christian men whom you’ve been warned about. In both Iraq and Afghanistan, I served your country as a front line Infantry Soldier. I pay way too much in taxes. I have the unrealistic and irrational expectation that our government, through our elected officials, will put our community first over the interests of foreign nationals. I welcome anyone to be my neighbor, but believe that immigrants should come legally and in an orderly fashion in order to protect the social safety net and not to depress the wages of American workers.

I have no issue with how anyone else chooses to live or whom they choose to love. I respect and honor women, but don’t think that they have a God-given right to kill their children. I believe in choice - the choice to responsibly use a firearm to protect my family against a gun wielding criminal. I am not one of the few
who kneels on the flag; I am one of the many who stands for the Pledge of Allegiance to Make America Great Again.
